YOUR ANSWER:

* This Instructional Material was being used in our previous subject which is the Foundation of Special
and Inclusive Education, and our topic is Typology of Learners with Special Needs which we are tasked to
make an IM according to the disability of a children we choose, and I have chosen the children with
Dyscalculia that is why I created this kind of Instructional Material. Though this IM is also applicable to
those students without dyscalculia.

Topic: Arithmetic operation – Addition

What you like most about your instructional material?
What I liked most about this Instructional Material was the way it was used. Mainly the thing in the
orange circle, there are small papers there that are scrolled where there are written addition problems.
When the child pulls out one of it, he will now take the object in the green square where it is a
whiteboard marker and tissue as an eraser. Now the child will write the addition problem in the part
with the cloud shapes and the paper he pulled out will now be placed in the blue circle shape. Then the
child will take the popsicle sticks pointed by the yellow arrow then what is the number in the first
addend that he wrote is also the same as the popsicle stick that he will now put in the first bottle in the
heart shape and so on he will do the second addend and after he has put all the addend he will now take
all the popsicle sticks that are there and count them one by one while putting in the last bottle. And how
many popsicle sticks he counted, he will write in the last cloud shape and that will be the answer to the
addition problem. The good thing of those in the cloud shape is that I applied scotch tape to it so that it
can be written with a whiteboard marker and so that it can still be erased and used to write by the next
student. In this instructional material the child will learn the correct process of adding numbers to get
the sum of two numbers and at the same time they will also enjoy counting because there are popsicle
sticks that serve as a number.

What you like to improve and how you will improve it:
I would like to make this Instructional Material even more durable and more pleasing to look at, so the
next time I make this kind of IM. I will use cardboard that is stronger and harder than the previous one
and I won’t going to use plain cartolina instead I will use the cover which is sticker and the has a design. I
will also use bigger bottles and widen the space for the children to write. That's all and I THANK YOU!

PS. English is not my native language so, sorry for the wrong grahams Sir 🤧
