Answer: "Efficiency is the ability to have someone or something to


achieve a certain effect, effectiveness is the ability to achieve the desired
or expected effect."The health establishments are based on the existing
relationship between the psychological aspects of the individual and the
environment. The psychological aspects not only involve the patient,
also include the staff that works in the office. The external factors that
are present in the work environment such as noise, extreme
temperatures, ventilation, vibration, lighting, presence of toxins, among
others that can produce harmful effects in the worker, in addition to the
discomfort generated, translates in stress, anguish, depression, insomnia,
alterations in behavior, among many others. In conclusion, it is
important that the staff has the right environment to provide an adequate
service; all these factors affect the design of the office.

5. If an orthodontist and his or her staff can serve six patients per hour,
how many chairs need to be available in the waiting room?

Answer: The best thing in these cases is to have twice as many chairs
depending on the capacity of attention per hour, in this case 12 chairs.
Because this would cover the necessary customers in two hours of work,
ensures that at most of customers will wait a maximum hour before
receiving the service.
