Provisional Eligibility Certificate

The candidate Mr. MD EMADUDDIN K who has passed the Bachelor of Commerce Examination of
Thiruvalluvar University bearing Reg. No 30617U10030 in September - 2020 is eligible for admission to
First Year of Master of Commerce degree course in this University during the Academic year 2020-2021
subject to the conditions mentioned below.
The Principal/Director/Concerend authorities should verify the original documents of the candidate.

Subject to the condition that the original/ attested xerox copy of UG Provisional /Degree Certificate

to be produced at the time of recognition

CONDITIONS
1. Candidates who have passed the P.U.C. after 11 years S.S.L.C. or Pre-degree after 10 years S.S.L.C. or P.U.C / intermediate of
Higher Secondary Examination under the 10+2 pattern or other equivalent examination viz., the All India Senior School Certificate
Examination, the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) Examination with three subjects and English at least in the G.C.E (Ordinary Level),
alone are eligible for admission to the first year of three year Degree Course
2. Candidates who have passed the three year B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. or any other Degree course of other University under Open
University System or after 11 years S.S.L.C. plus I year P.U.C. or 10 year S.S.L.C. plus 2 year Pre-Degree or P.U.C. or Intermediate
or Higher Secondary Examination under the 10+2 pattern or other equivalent examination viz, All India Senior School Certificate
examination of 12 years duration or Indian School certificate Examination of 12 years duration or the G.C.E. Advanced Level
Examination with three subjects and English at least in the G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) to the Post Graduate Courses or Professional
Courses (*15 years of study) where degree is prescribed as the qualifying examination.
3. The Candidate's provisional eligibility for admission to the course mentioned on the overleaf will be confirmed only on receipt of
the Pass or Provisional certificate & Grade/Marks Statements in Original through the Principal of the College who admit the
candidate in a vacancy.
4. This Provisional Eligibility certificate is no way guarantee of admission / visa to the course concerned, as admissions are not
made by this University but by the Heads of Institutions or by the Government of Tamilnadu, as the case may be.
5. (a) The Candidate should undergo the full course, including languages, and all the subjects prescribed under the course concerned
in an affiliated college. The candidate will not be exempted from undergoing any part of the course or from taking the examination
in any subject so prescribed, under any circumstances.
(b) The Candidate should seek admission only in the colleges affiliated to this University where the language and the subjects which
the Candidate wished to offer are taught.
6. The Number and Date of this Provisional eligibility Certificate should be quoted while applying for recognition of the above

qualification and in all future correspondence.
7. If admitted, the candidate should earn the necessary attendance & progress.
8. The Eligibility of Self-Supporting foreign students will be confirmed only on receipt of "Students Visa" issued by the Indian
Embassies abroad at the time of Admission to the course.
9. This Provisional Eligibility Certificate is valid for this academic year only and also course for which issued.
10. The candidate has to apply for recognition of the qualifying examination passed by him/her, in the prescribed application form,
together with the degree / Diploma / Provisional Pass Certificate and Statement of Marks / Grades (in Original) issued by the
Concerned Educational authorities and this Provisional Eligibility certificate through the Principal of the college where he/she gets
admission, within 15 days of the opening of classes in the first term of the academic year. Candidates who have paid the fees for
Provisional Eligibility Certificate need not pay the fees prescribed for grant of Recognition of qualifying examination.
If the candidate joined some other course, should pay the prescribed fee for the grant of recognition of qualifying examination, since
the Provisional Eligibility certificate issued for the course is differ.
11. Candidates admitted in Lateral Entry (II Year) for B.Com. / B.C.A. have to study Language in the Second Year of the respective
courses, if they have not studied the language at the Diploma Level.
