Summary

His first ascent to the church was a small experience in the diocese of Cork, granted by the

government, to the surprise of everyone, this experience that he soon changed to a chaplain post

in a regiment, which he sold for 500 pounds. He turned his hand with this money, and in a very

short time, he got a dean, that he also exchanged for another livelihood. After that, he got another

dean, by some inexplicable methods, but being indebted, he was forced to fly from his country

and get rid of him, in a way that no one can say except himself and another. He was left behind

alive, which he could not help because he was kidnapped by his debts. When he went to England

to transfer money, he got the signatures of several gentlemen. It would take several years to

complete, if the most naive and knowledgeable person had undertaken it, he could not have done

it ten thousand years. After all this, he fled to Fort St George and left the following characters to

himself.
