The basics! 
Hello! My name is Srta. Soto! I have been 
given the amazing opportunity to 
complete my student teaching in Srta.Ruiz 
3rd grade classroom. I am studying to be 
a bilingual teacher with the education 
program at the University of Arizona.I am 
beyond excited to apply what I have 
learned throughout my experiences with 
students into this classroom before 
having my own. I want students to know 
that they can achieve anything they set 
their mind to and that I am here to help 
them with anything they need. 

My education 
I am a transfer student at University of 
Arizona from Cochise College. 

  I have an associates degree in Elementary 

education and I am currently working on

Color:Red  I was born in Nogales,Arizona and raised 
in Rio Rico. Since I live 15 minutes away 
Season:Summer 
from a border town I get to cross often to 
Restaurant: Buffalo wild wings  Mexico. I get to practice both languages 
Flower: Sunflowers and roses  english and spanish. My grandparents live 
Animal: Dog  in Nogales, Sonora and do not speak 
    english at all. I feel honored to be able to 
represent the Mexican American culture 
in me.
