RECENT PRODUCT LAUNCHES:

XUV 300: Mahindra & Mahindra Limited launched its new Crossover SUV, the XUV300 on 27th
February 2019, at an ex-showroom price of ₹90 lac. It is based on the X100 platform of SsangYong

Pininfarina Battista:

Automobili Pininfarina announced on 27th November 2018 about its investment of over €20m in
Pininfarina design services to support plans for its range of luxury electric cars.

With this was developed the Pininfarina Battista with four electric motors producing 1900
horsepower. This all-electric car was first revealed at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.

MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS

Harkey Acquisition, L.L.C.: On 15th January 2019, Automobili Pininfarina GmbH ('APF'), a wholly-
owned subsidiary of Mahindra Automotive Mauritius acquired 100% of the membership interests in
Harkey Acquisition, L.L.C., USA.

Ssangyong Motor Company: In May 2014, for US$ 463 million, Mahindra acquired a 70% controlling
stake in SsangYong, the South Korean automaker
 Pininfarina S.p.A: In December 2015, Tech Mahindra Limited and Mahindra & Mahindra jointly
entered into an agreement with PincarS.r.l., to purchase a controlling stake in Pininfarina S.p.A., an
iconic Italian brand in automotive and industrial design, buying 76.06 % of Pininfarina shares from
the current controlling shareholder PincarS.r.l. at a price of €1 per share.

Peugeot Motocycles: Acquisition of 51% stake in Peugeot Motocycles was completed by Mahindra
Two Wheelers in January 2015 for €28 million.

Recent News:

July 4 2020: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has unveiled a new brand communication campaign and logo
- ‘The Mahindra Classics’ to commemorate the rich automotive heritage of the Mahindra Group and
its deep connection with, and contribution to, seven decades of India’s automotive history.
