1. Child Labour
Under the terms of SA8000,
Companies must not support
Child Labour. The minimum age
for recruitment for all levels of
employment shall be 18 years
and above. This shall be
evidenced through certificate of
age proof, school records and
certificate by any appropriate
Medical Officer as prescribed.
2. Forced Labour
The company
recognizes the right
of workmen to form
associations and join
committees and to
address and solve the
grievances
5. Discrimination
It is the belief of the
Company that the employee
are solely, employed, trained,
promoted and remunerated
on the basis of performance
and competence irrespective
of race, caste, origin,
religion, disability, gender,
age, sexual orientation and
political affiliation
6. Disciplinary Practices
The company shall
not engage in or
support use of
corporal punishment,
mental or physical
coercion and verbal
abuse
7. Working Hours
Comply with the
applicable law but, in
any event, at least one
day off for every
seven days period;
voluntary overtime
paid at a premium
rate.
