Subject: Sponsorship Solicitation Letter

Dear Alumni,

The Mechanical Engineering Department is making plans for the annual ME Summit with the
theme ME SUMMIT 2018: "Deepening Understanding in ME through Continuous Seek for
Knowledge" and a Quiz Show with the theme PSME-UBSC QUIZ SHOW 2017: “Soaring to
Success through a Quest for Excellence” on February 8, 2018 at the Auditorium of University
of Batangas at Hilltop, Batangas City and for the preparation of our department in the annual
Dean’s Cup that will be held also this upcoming February and other events that are lined-up
in our calendar.

We are writing this letter to you on behalf of the mechanical engineering department of
University of Batangas. This letter is to request a sponsorship from you for our upcoming
events. We need funds that we’ll be needing to push through our events. Your valuable
donation will greatly help our organization. We extend our warm welcome to you, to take part
in our event.
