THE BEST SOCIAL MEDIA
PLATFORMS FOR YOUR BUSINESS
After working with 10,000s of businesses, our approach to
social media platform choice is a bit different.

Choosing social media platforms is a bit like choosing an exercise.

Running isn’t the only way to get fit.

Burpees aren’t the only way to get fit (thank, God!!).
Yoga isn’t the only way to get fit.

Any exercise can help you get fit… But if you hate burpees like
me, burpees will be an extra painful way to get fit.

I’m gonna advise strongly that you focus on 1-2 platforms to

start. Master those before taking on more platforms.

I’m also going to recommend some “platforms” that technically

aren’t social, such as blogging, Pinterest, YouTube - because they
can act in the place of social platforms for some businesses!

The BEST way to choose a platform is to pick the platforms and

mediums that:
1. Make the most sense for your products/services
2. Makes sense for your work-load/current team
3. You (at least mostly) enjoy

Go through each of these questions, write down the

recommended platforms based on this guidance, and then follow
the directions at the end.
If your product (or the end result it brings) is visually appealing
(i.e. fitness, clothing, skincare, singing coach), I recommend a
platform that can showcase that.

Recommended platforms: YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest

If you lead with value (answering questions, sharing advice) I

recommend focusing on a platform that allows your expertise to
be showcased with searchable, long-term content.

Recommended platforms: YouTube, Blogging, Pinterest, Podcast

If your product naturally draws a community, or you follow

Russell Brunson’s Expert Secrets (building a strong culture), I
recommend focusing on platforms where the community is
strong.

Recommended platforms: Facebook groups, Instagram, TikTok

If you have transformations (before and afters), I recommend

focusing on platforms that reward those transformations.

Recommended platforms: Instagram, TikTok

If you have content writers, or your copywriting/content writing

skills are on point, I recommend building on platforms where
long-form posts can serve your audience well.

Recommended platforms: Blogging, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook

groups

If so far, the answers to everything has been “No…”, then write

down LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok.

If you aren’t comfortable with creating video content, cross off

TikTok and YouTube.
If you really hate a platform, cross it off your list for now. You
can revisit this as your likes change over time.

Pick 1-2 platforms to start. If you’re already crushing it on a

platform, add 1-2 more from this list!

MILLION DOLLAR SOCIAL

MEDIA CONTENT STRATEGY
This is the strategy most people/businesses refuse to follow -
that could change everything for their entire business (hint: it’s
insanely effective, however simple it might seem).

Just the other day I heard a popular entrepreneur saying “We

tried repurposing content and throwing that content up
everywhere… It doesn’t work!”

A few months ago, I heard another entrepreneur say “I tried to

hire someone for Instagram… We never seem to get results.”

Across the board I hear of businesses, influencers and

entrepreneurs trying to post content on social media and failing
to get results.

Any and all businesses would have significantly more success if

they started with this million dollar social media content strategy.

Here it is…

Every single time you create a single piece of content, ask

yourself this series of questions:

1. What is my intention with this content?

2. Who do I intend on reaching with this content?
3. How do I intend on serving them with this content?
These 3 questions change everything, from the tone of your
content to the energy with which you show up. They change
how people receive your content all the way to your monetary
exchange from your content.

This separates your content from the thousands/millions of posts

trying to separate consumers from their money.

Intention was the multiplier for my content, following,

opportunities and revenue.

Yet, it’s so simple, most people will miss the value I just shared
(and how it can change your entire business and life!).

Start with your intention (and now you can plug in other social
media strategies/tactics), and your content will never fail.

BEST TIMES TO POST TO SOCIAL

MEDIA
Throw away all of your other guides that promise to share the
best time to post to social media…

Those guides make TWO key mistakes.

It’s kinda like saying, “This is the outfit that looks good on
everyone. It’s the only outfit that looks good.” There is no such
thing!

These guides miss out on these TWO keys to social media

posting times:

1. Every single creator/brand is different. Their ideal times to

post are different.
2. The outlier that changes the game.
Here’s how to determine YOUR brand’s unique time to post to
social media, which is totally custom for your brand and your
audience.

Important note: this process will need to be performed on each

platform. It’s intense, I know. But the final step in this process will
give you some amazing freedom.

Step 1: Go to your analytics within the platform.

*If you do not have analytics, I recommend a tool such as

Metricool or SproutSocial to get the analytics safely.*

Step 2: Note the times when your audience is most active on the
platform. It may be different from day to day.

Step 3: Double check the time zone (for example, some social
media platforms use UTC time zone! Google “UTC time to
[INSERT YOUR TIME ZONE] converter”.

Step 4: Write down the times converted (or not, if the platform
doesn’t say UTC) on each day.

Step 5: Your ideal posting window is 1-2 hours before your

audience is most active on that platform.

The Outlier & The Gamechanger: good content performs no

matter when it’s posted. You can post 5 posts right in a row and
still have success with them all! It may just be slightly delayed
initially, but they can still all perform. You can post at 2am or 6am
or 5pm and still have success with your content.

Good content changes the game and breaks all the rules.
Yay, I’m so glad you have this information in your hands - time
to transform your social media growth and visibility!
