Simplified User Manual for the SD 30 Mobile - DR version

N.B. It is very important to strictly follow the order of these instructions.
A) Powering up the WiFi cassette :
Power up the WiFi cassette by pressing the small white button.

B) Powering up the SD30 Mobile :

Plug in the mobile. Then press the ON button of the mobile.
NB. Wait for the ‘Beep’ ‘Beep’ sound before continuing with the next step.

C) Powering up of the PC, Monitor and CISCO router:

1. Power up the UPS by pressing the ON button (1 single click). The On Line
indicator light becomes green.

2. The CISCO router starts up.

3. The PC starts up.

4. Automatic launching of the DROC software.

a) Once you reach the screen here below, using a stylus enter the password mgr
(in lowercase letters), then validate ''Iniciar Sesion''.

b) The Wifi cassette and the parameters of the DROC software are initialized.

c) The ''Nuevo Paciente'' window opens.

d) Creation of the patient: an alphanumeric keyboard appears at the bottom of

the screen. The following fields must be completed :
Primer Nombre and PID and validate the Protocolo key.

e) After validating the ''Protocolo'' key, the window here below is displayed on
the screen.
Using the little man on the left, select the body part and the anatomical part
to undergo the X-Ray.

In the example here-below, chest, then PECHO PA.

f) After validating PECHO PA, 1 thumbnail image, to help with the positioning,
appears in the black frame.
Next, validate ''Exam''.

g) A new window appears : the patient’s name, the PID and the scheduled exam
appear on the screen.

h) In the generator part, on the right of the screen, check that the X-Ray
parameters are suitable for the X-Ray in question. If this is not the case,
adjust the kV, mAs or mA, ms by using the right and left arrows on each side
and then validate with the Save key.

i) After positioning the patient and adjusting the X-Ray parameters, pick up the
graphy handswitch and perform an X-Ray.

j) During the exposure, the icons here-below change color

k) After a few seconds, the image in the Preview mode appears on the screen
(like the image below).

l) 7 or 8 seconds later, the final image appears on the screen. You can either
validate the image with "Acceptar" or "Rechazar", if the image obtained is not
satisfactory.

m) Once you have validated with "Acceptar", you can apply different image
processing functions that are accessible on the right hand side of the image.

The image below has been readjusted by using the functions Contrast and
Brightness and then validated with "Acceptar".

n) After ''Acceptar'', validate with ''Print''.

o) The print window appears on the screen. Slide the thumbnail image onto the
film and launch a DICOM or WINDOWS print.

p) Once the image has been printed, validate ''Exam'' in the right hand column
to create a new patient.

D) Access to the patient list :

a) From ''Trabajo'' , the ''Nuevo Paciente" window opens.

Validate the ''Local'' box (patient list)

From this patient list, it is possible to :

 visualize an exam by selecting it in the list and by validating the ''Vista'' box ,
 search for an exam by entering ''Number'', ''PID'' or ''Número de Adhesión'',
 search for an exam over the past 3 days,
 search for all the exams.

N.B. It is very important to strictly follow the order of these instructions.

E) How to exit the DROC software :
To exit the software, validate ''Salida", then ''Salida''. If you want to stop the
computer, validate "Apague Ordinator".

F) Stopping the SD30 mobile

Stop the UPS (that supplies electricity to the PC, the 17’’ screen and the CISCO
router) by pressing the start button twice in quick succession.

After switching off the PC, switch off the mobile with the OFF button (black).

Then, stop the WiFi cassette by keeping the white button pressed down until the
STOP/START LED of the WiFi cassette blinks.
