AFFIDAVIT OF RECANTATION

I, ALFREDO B. MENDOZA, Filipino, of legal age, and a resident of Luna, Isabel, after
having been duly sworn to in accordance with law do, hereby depose and state:

1. That I am the complainant in the case of OMB-L-C-17-0418 for violation RA 3019

Sec. 3 (e) and (f) and OMB-L-A-17-0450 for Abuse of Authority; Conduct
Unbecoming of a Public Official; Grave Misconduct; RA 6731 Sec. 5 (a) (admin)-
Act promptly on Letters and requests pending before the Honorable Office of the
Ombudsman;

2. That I initiated the above complaint against Mrs. Hortencia Galapon out of anger and
burst of emotions;

3. That after a solemn thinking and consultation with my family regarding the above
mentioned circumstances, I along with my family have decided to forego with the
complaint;

4. That I recant every statements I made in my complaint as the same is untrue and
without basis and were just made as a product of sudden burst of emotions;

5. That I am executing this affidavit of recantation out of my own free will, without any
undue influence, or coercion from anybody;

6. That I am executing this affidavit of recantation in order to withdraw the complaint

against my fellow employee Mrs. Hortencia Galapon pending before the Honorable
Office of the Ombudsman.
