PERMISSION TO PERFORM JOURNEY TO MALAYSIA

The Consulate-General of Malaysia in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the
People’s Republic of China hereby acknowledges the person stated above is granted
permission to perform his/her journey to Malaysia within the period of one month from
this date: 2ND NOVEMBER 2020.

2. This permission letter to enter Malaysia will still subject the person stated above to
existing Malaysian immigration rules and regulations governing entry in Malaysia. Upon
arrival in Malaysia, he/she is subject to 14-day mandatory quarantine at a government-
designated quarantine location. Malaysian government regulations do not require him/her
to undergo a Covid-19 test before departure to Malaysia as the Covid-19 test will be
done upon arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

3. The accompanying Letter of Undertaking and Indemnity for Person under


Surveillance (LOU) carried by the traveller to present to the Malaysian authorities upon
arrival at KLIA do not require any endorsement/signature/official stamp from the
Consulate-General, as any endorsement/signature/official stamp will be done on the Letter
of Undertaking by the attending Malaysian government official upon arrival at KLIA.

4. Any other accompanying Approval Letters from any Malaysian government


agency such as the Immigration Department of Malaysia (JIM) or the Ministry of Tourism,
Arts and Culture of Malaysia (MOTAC) carried by the traveller to present to the Malaysian
authorities upon arrival at KLIA also do not require any endorsement/signature/official
stamp from the Consulate-General.

5. This permission letter applies to travellers to Malaysia whose point of origin for
departure is the Hong Kong SAR or the Macao SAR.
