Dear Ma,

To my mother who has been an Overseas Filipino Worker since I was born, I would like
to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You always work hard for our family. You can
do anything may it be cooking, selling things, tutor, teacher, hairdresser and most
important of all giving love to me and older brother. Even if you only come home every 3
years, I can wait and give you a relaxing vacation when you arrive. I want to give you
the best I can in return for your hard work for giving us all we need. I am proud that
you’re my mother and I’m proud to be your daughter.

Every day, I wish for your good health because I know you are getting old and starting
to feel more exhaustion from work. As I said before, after I graduate, I will get you stay
here in the Philippines and will not let you do work so that you can have fun for the rest
of your life. I would like to pay off all your kindness and hard work please wait a little
more.

Remember when I was a kid, I frequently give you letters when it your birthday or you
must fly to Saudi Arabia again. Those days are when I miss you the most because I was
immature and felt lonely even though grandmother is here to take care of me. Today as
an adult I would still feel the same from time to time but not as frequent as before.
Maybe because I want to give you the best treatment as an adult who would like to do
things that can benefit you. At my age and my prospective, I would like to be in your
place who gives their all to their love ones. Love you ma, take care of yourself there and
do not work too hard.

With love,

Your daughter
