-Surprise worksheet! 
Estimated timing: whatever is left of the course
Description of the activity:
- As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic (and not only), most students, especially 9 th graders
(but naturally, not only these) do need extra practice when it comes to grammar, in most
cases tenses. My students have already ‘confessed’ that they need more than just the typical
revision, therefore I am constantly trying to provide them with as much info as possible,
therefore I either bring them worksheets or I send them pdfs on our Whatsapp group. As a
teacher and their pseudo-mom, I am very well aware of the fact that we are recommended
not to bring hand-outs/worksheets, but since I do my best to touch the paper as little as
possible, for this course I have taken the liberty to provide them with hand-outs.
- Naturally, the teacher is to help the students whenever they fail to provide the correct
answer.
