Information Security Management System (ISMS) – is a set of policies and procedures for systematically
managing an organization’s sensitive data.

ISO 27001 - is a specification for creating an ISMS. It does not mandate specific actions, but includes
suggestions for documentation, internal audits, continual improvement, and corrective and preventive
action

Static Group

Static Equipments – are simply “vessels” that is used to hand and store large quantities of fluid.

Types of Static Equipments

1. Pressurized Vessels
a. Drums – used to hand large quantities of fluid without the use of trays
b. Columns – used to separate different types of fluid with the use of trays for efficient
separation
c. Heat Exchangers – is a system used to transfer heat between two or more fluids. Heat
exchangers are used in both cooling and heating processes.
2. Non – Pressurized
a. Tanks – are used throughout the oil and gas industry for the bulk containment of fluids
at different stages of the refinery process

Shipping Volume – a deliverable that is done to get the equivalent volume of the equipment for shipping

Furnace Group

1. Boilers - is a piece of equipment which acts as a closed vessel to convert the water inside into
high pressure steam.
2. Flares – used to burn waste flue gas and discharge it at safe elevation.
3. Heat Recovery Steam Generator – utilize steam from the gas turbine exit.
4. Furnace – is an industrial furnace used for many things, such as the extraction of metal from ore
(smelting) or in oil refineries and other chemical plants, for example as the heat source for
fractional distillation columns.

Refractory – is a heat-resistant material: that is, a mineral that is resistant to decomposition by heat,
pressure, or chemical attack, most commonly applied to a mineral that retains strength and form at high
temperatures.

Vendor Print Review – conducts review of relevant engineering design documents

1. Fabrication Drawing – drawing of the equipment during fabrication. The drawing includes the
type of material that the fabricator will use for the equipment.
2. Erection Drawing – is a type of construction drawing that provides full details about how to build
a large structure.

Types of Weight

1. Fabrication Weight
2. Shipping Weight
3. Erection Weight
4. Empty Weight
5. Operating Weight
6. Field Test Weight
7. Upset Weight
