Personal Statement

I am me! A photographer currently studying at the University of Gloucestershire in Photojournalism and

Documentary Photography. Prior to this this I studied a year of Editorial and Advertising Photography.
Over the last five years I have studied a wide range of media. Currently I do not specialise in one area of
photography, so I am happy to explore all areas. I have an open mind and am always happy to enrich my
portfolio.
I have cameras, lenses and photos all over my office. I am an open minded individual who strives to be
creative and proactive. I am always trying to better myself by learning new things and asking for help.
My environment is full of animals, family, friends and children. Being a young carer, a lifeguard and a
swimming teacher has taught me independence and teamwork. Always striving to better myself and
invest in my future.
