moment and make us of those who will gaze at Your beautiful
Countenance in Paradise

Allah, Ar-Rahman, we know that You alone bestows Mercy upon Your creation

 Ya Ar Rahman. Let us never despair of Your mercy, guide us to

Ar Rahmaan be merciful to others.

The Beneficent
‫الرحمن‬  Ya Rahman guide us to maintain our family ties, and make us
seek Your pleasure.
 Ya Rahman Enable us to reflect on Your mercy around us,
adorn us with gratefulness, and enter us into Paradise by Your
mercy
Allah, Ar-Raheem, we know that You bestow Your mercy perfectly and continuously
on all that exists.

Ar Raheem  Ya Ar-Raheem guide us to hold onto Your book and the sunnah

‫الرحيم‬ so we may attain Your mercy and let us carry out our actions,
speech, and thoughts with a deep sense of taqwa.
 Ya Ar-Raheem Make us turn to You at all times, asking for Your
Mercy, and make us compassionate so we will enter through
the gates of Your paradise by Your mercy
Allah, Al-Malik, we know that You are our only King and Owner.

Al Malik  Ya Al-Malik Help us in following Your commands and in being

when carrying out our affairs

Al- Mu'min of our trusts and fulfilling our promises, and bless us with all the
characteristics of Your beloved believers.

 Ya Al-Ghaffaar – Forgive the sins that I don't remember and the

sins that I didn't even consider as sins. Please forgive me for
the sins I committed in the past, those I will commit in the
future, those down unknowingly, mistakenly, intentionally
unintentionally and remove any evil or lasting effects from them.
Al-Ghaffaar  Ya Al-Ghaffaar enable us to keep turning to You to seek

and my family that have passed before me.
Allah, Al-Qahhaar, we know that You overpower everything
Al-Qahhaar  Ya Al-Qahhaar make us of those who bow to You in Islam and
adorn us with apprehension of You

 Allah, Ar-Razzaaq, we know that You are the one and only Provider.

 Ya Ar Razzaq Make us of those who are content with Your

Ar-Razzaaq provisions, guide us to work hard and use Your provisions
wisely.

The Sustainer
‫الرزاق‬  Ya Ar Razzaq Lead us to deeds that increase Your rizq and
enter us into Your gardens by Your rahmah so we can enjoin
the best of Your provisions.
The TotAl-Provider  Ya Ar- Razzaq let us be grateful for the provision You have
provided us with that we do not even deserve.
 Ya Ar-Razzaq Let us spend in Your name with the provisions
You have provided us (health wealth family job etc)

Allah, Al-Fattaah, we know that You open to us every closed gate according to
Your wisdom. You are the Opener, The Reliever, The one who opens his slaves
closed worldly and religious matters

Al-Fattaah  Ya Fattah Open our hearts to Your Ibadah.

 Ya Fattah Open Your door to Success.

Doors
‫الفتاح‬ 

Ya Al-Fattah Open for us the doors to all that is good in this life.
Ya Al-Fattah help us to trust on You as our judge, inspire us to
ask You only to open any door for us— physical, spiritual, big,
The Supreme Solver or small— and to open for us the door of Your mercy and open
for us the gates to Your Paradise
 Ya Al-Fattah- open the doors to forms of rizq that will increase
my good deeds and would favour Your mercy.

Allah, Al-‘Aleem, we know nothing but what You teach us. You are the All-
Knowledgeable, nothing is absent from Your knowledge

 Ya Al-Aleem Give us Ilm .

 Ya Al-Aleem Instil in us eagerness to learn, guide us to the best
Al-'Aleem knowledge, increase our knowledge and make us benefit from

19  Ya Al-Aleem guide us to act upon our ‘ilm by doing what
The All-Knowing;
pleases You and staying away from what displeases You. Make
The Omniscient us contemplate ourselves and the creation around us, and
assist us in accepting Your decree at all times,

desires, the struggles, the anxieties I am enduring, bestow upon
me Your guidance

Allah, Al-Qaabid, lead us by Your withholding to whatever is best for us in this

life and the next.

 Ya Al-Khaafidh reduce any anxiety or stress or worry we have

those who earn Your wrath

Allah! You are the Elevating One, The Exalter, The Elevator, The one who
lowers whoever He willed by His Destruction and raises whoever He willed by
His Endowment

Allah, You are the Honourer, You give esteem to whoever You will and You
degrade who You will.

Al-Mu'izz  Ya Al-Mu-izz Help us in understanding and acting upon Your

glorious Book and make us of those who are righteous

Al-Muzil from us . There is none who can degrade You and You can

 Ya As Sami Aid us to watch our tongues and use them for Your

As Sami  Ya Sami protect us from foul speech, bless our tongue and our

hearing, and make us of those whose prayers are answered
Ya As Sami- You are all hearing of the duas recited by our
tongues, and those expressed from our hearts, please accept
my duaa
 Ya As Sami- You hear even the silent cries from our hearts,
please accept our duas.
 Allah, Al-Baseer, we know You see every move we make.

 Ya Al-Baseer Aid us to watch our deeds and use our sight and
insight for Your sake only and make us grateful for the
Al-Baseer blessings of our senses.

doing everything we do, in worship and worldly affairs, with

Allah, Al-Hakam, we know You are the Perfect Judge.

 Ya Al-Hakam Aid us to adhere to Your legislation in our daily

Al-Hakam lives, make us of those who are equal and just to others and of

instead of merely using it to satisfy our needs
Subtleties  Ya Al-Lateef- You have been kind to me, let me be kind to
those around me and sensitive to the feelings and needs of
those around me
Allah ! You are the One who knows the truth of things.

 Ya Al-Khabeer we know that You watch over and control all

things, bestow upon us Your taqwa for every action and thought
Al-Khabeer that we do

‫الخبير‬  Ya Al-Khabeer guide us to be watchful over our hearts and our
obligations towards You, bless us with worshiping You as
though we see You for if we don’t see You, You surely see us,
aid us in purifying our intentions
 Ya Al-Khabeer help us remember Your watchfulness over us

Allah Al-Haleem, we know You are the Most Forbearing and You delay and
cancel Your Punishment with great Wisdom.

 Ya Al-Haleem Protect us from taking advantage of Your Hilm by

Al-Halim persisting in bad deeds, aid us to return to You after we sin

for Your Forbearance and patience in hardships .
The Clement One  Ya Al-Halim Make us of those who are forbearing and kind to
others, never be arrogant and help us to develop hilm in times
of anger
 Allah Al-‘Adheem, we know You are the magnificent and Your strength and
greatness are beyond our comprehension.

Al-‘Adheem  Ya Al- Adheem Make us glorify You and turn to You in hardship

and ease, aid us to fear no one and nothing but You.
33  O Al-Adheem guide us to be of the those who are always in a
The Magnificent One
state of awareness of Your might and grandeur, and make our
The Infinite
scales heavy by remembering You and living by Your beautiful
names

Allah, Al-Ghafoor, we know that You are The Most Forgiving.

 Ya Al-Ghafoor forgive us for our sins- No matter the size and

amount of our sins, we call on You to forgive our sins and the
Al-Ghafoor every lasting effects of our sings.

the effects of our bad deeds in this life and the next, to support

Ya Allah, We Know that You are the one who gives a lot of reward for a little
obedience.

 Ya Ash-Shakur we know You are the answerer and fulfiller of

Ash Shakur prayers. Guide us to respond to Your call and be responsive to
those in need and make us call upon and supplicate to You in

The Most the best manner. Don’t let our prayers be unanswered and

 Ya Ash Shakur let me also be appreciative of those that help
The Acknowledging me, especially those that help me become closer to You.
One  Ya Ash-Shakur remind me to ultimately carry out good deeds
for Your sake for You are the ultimate appreciative and help me
to not expect appreciation recognition or gratification from Your
creation.

Ya Allah ! We know that You are The most High, The One who is clear from the
attributes of the creatures.

Al-'Alee  Ya Al-‘Aliy, we know that You are far above any imperfection.

Help us to be humble, to fight our desires, and to never place

‫الحسيب‬ disposer of our affairs, make us reflect the signs of Your
amazing attribute of hasaba in the entire universe and in
ourselves and make us enter Jannatul Firdaws without

 Ya Al-Haseeb grant us a solution to every problem we face and
let us turn towards You, Your deen and teachings of the life of
our Prophet Muhammed (peace and blessings be upon him) for
guidance.
Allah ! We know that You are The Most Generous, Esteemed

 Ya Al-Jaleel- whenever we are faced with a difficulty remind us

Al-Jaleel that You are majestic and You bring the ease out of any

 Ya Al-Hakeem, we know that You are the One who possesses

ultimate wisdom. Make us of those who are content with Your

resurrects His slaves after death for reward and/or punishment.
Al-Ba'ith make us the one who when raised on the Day of Resurrection,
recieve their book of deeds in the Right hand
 Ya AL-Ba’ith Grant me death in a state of Ibadah, that is most

 Ya Al-Haqq Don’t let us be deceived by shaytan and his
Al-Haqq helpers.

in my will, in my resolve, in my action and protect me against
ambiguity or concealing the truth or being dishonest or deceitful
Allah ! We know that You are the Trustee, The Disposer of Affairs, The One
who gives satisfaction and is relied upon

 Ya Al-Wakeel, Make us of those who gracefully rely on You and

guide us to work in this world to the best of our ability.
 Ya Al-Wakeel Make us of those others can trust in, protect us
Al-Wakeel against our enemies, guard over us and make us entrust our

strength to strive for justice.

the unjust and enable us to be comforted by our knowledge of

knowledge and give not power over us to anyone who will not
have mercy over us.
 Ya Al-Qawiyy strengthen my heart and mind to always have
taqwa of You, strengthen me to fight shaytan and his whispers,
I will only grow stronger by Your strength
Allah ! We know that You are the The Firm, The Steadfast

 Ya Al-Mateen, we know that You are the most firm. Let us

benefit from the Quran and Sunnah.

Al-Mumeet  Ya Al-Mumeet destroy all the evil within us and within our souls.

everything perishes.

make us remind ourselves that we will stand before You so we

protection against any harmful difficulty that may lead me
astray, and the pleasure of life after death
 Allah, we know that You are Al-Baatin – The Imperceptible, The Hidden One.

Al-Waali bounties and a change of state of wellbeing and a sudden onset
of Your punishment and from all Your punishment

‫الوالي‬  Ya Al-Waali help me and do not help others against me and
give me supremacy and do not them overpower me and plan in
my favour and do not plan against me and guide me and make
Supreme Authority the guidance easy for me and help me against whoever
oppresses me.
 Ya Al-Waali make me one who remembers You greatly and one
who exhibits humbleness greatly and one who turns towards
You.
 Ya Al-Waali Please let me always have Trust and hope in You
with amazing expectations from You because You have infinite
limitless bounties and attributes
 Ya Al-Waali please protect the trust in all of my relationships
(parents, spouse, children, friends colleagues) and protect me
from breaking this trust.
Allah, we know that You are the Extremely Exalted One, The Supreeme

 Ya Al-Muta’aali Give us knowledge of and lead us to prioritize

Al-Muta'ali the deeds most pleasing to You and assist us in calling others
to You.

Ya Al-Muta’aali Adorn us with firm belief in Your Highness and
admit us to the Highest Paradise without Reckoning
Ya Al-Muta’aali I ask with every name that You have names
One Yourself with or revealed in Your Book or taught anyone of Your
creation or preferred to keep hidden in the unseen that You
make the Quran the delight of my heart and the light of my
chest and the meaning of removing my grief and sorrows.
Allah, Al-Barr, You are the source of all that is good, The Most Kind

 Ya Al-Barr Adorn us with the characteristics of the abraar

(righteous ones), guide us in good conduct in each company we
are in, and make our righteousness a way to lead us to Your
Al-Barr Paradise

‫البر‬
Ya Al-Barr I ask that I make the best supplication for the best
79 salvation and the best deeds and the best reward and the best
The Most Kind and life and the best death and keep me steadfast and make heavy
Righteous my scale of food deeds, accept my prayers and forgive me for
my mistakes.
 Ya Al-Barr I ask You for the onset of goodness and its
completion in goodness and apparent and its hidden.
 Ya Al-Barr let me be kind to others as You have been kind to
me.
 Allah, At-Tawwaab, we know that You are the source of all that is good, You are
the most forgiving and The most Merciful .

 Ya At Tawwab You accept repentance. So Accept my

Repentance and cleanse my heart
At Tawwaab  Ya At Tawwab accept my repentance, wash away my sins and
accept my supplications and keep my tongue truthful and guide

whatever I have delayed and what I have hidden and whatever I

 Ya At Tawwab forgive my faults and my ignorance and
exceeding in my matters and all that You know better than me.
Forgive me for my sins done in jest, knowingly, mistakenly and
all those done intentionally and unintentionally.
Allah, Al-Muntaqim You are The Avenger You are The One who victoriously
prevails over Your enemies and punishes them for their sins.

 Ya AL-Muntaqim Protect the Oppressed from the hands of the

Al-Muntaqim oppressors.

The Avenger ‫المنتقم‬  Ya Al-Muntaqim help me against whoever oppresses me and
give me supremecy and do not let them overpower me and
The Retaliator guide me and make the guidance easy for me.
 Ya Al-Muntaqim I seek refuge in You from being overpowered
by debt and from being overpowered by enemy and from the
rejoicing of enemies
Allah, Al-Afuww we know that You can erase all sins

 Ya Al-A’fuww Grant us the strength to pardon others and make

us reflect on Your love and blessings upon us.
 Ya Al-A’fuww Aid us to obey You and guide us in keep asking
You sincerely to pardon all our sins, mistakes, errors and faults
Al-'Afuww so we will not even be questioned about them on the Day of
Judgement
82 The Supreme
Pardoner
‫العفو‬  Ya Al-A’fuww forgive me for all my sins, whether few or
numerous, those of the present and the past and those
committed openly or secretly
The Forgiver
 Ya Al-Afuww You are the One Who forgives, You love to forgive
so forgive me. Forgive us our sins and protect us from the
punishment of the Fire.
 Ya Al-Afuww we have wronged ourselves and if You do not
forgive us and have mercy upon us then we will surely be
among the losers

Allah ! Ar-Ra’oof, we know that Your kindness encompasses us, You are the
One with extreme Mercy

 Ya Ar-Ra’oof Increase our hearts in mercy and aid us in

forbidding evil and enjoining good in ways most pleasing to
You.
 Ya Ar-Ra’oof Make us reflect Your ra’fa, open our heart to the
Ar Ra'oof Quran and make us of those who follow Your warnings so we

can avoid Your Punishment and enter Paradise safely
83 The Clement  Ya Ar-Ra’oof turn my heart towards Your obedience and make
The Compassionate my heart steadfast upon Your deen and take from me an easy
The All-Pitying reckoning. Suffice me with Your halal and save me from Your
halAl-and enrich me with Your favours.
 Ya Ar-Ra’oof- I ask You to put blessing in myself, in my nafs, in
my hearing, in my sight and in my soul and in my creation and

in our words and deeds, aid us to truly reflect on Your Kingdom
Mulk and be humbled by it.

Sovereignty ‫الملك‬ just to those under our authority and make us enter Paradise,
Your EternAl-dominion of pleasure

of debt and domination of people

Allah ! Zul-Jalaali wal-Ikram, we know that You are the Lord of all majesty and
bounty.

Dhul Jalaali  Ya Zul-Jalaali wal-Ikram Aid us to seek Your Honourable Face,

in our intentions, words and deeds.
wAl-Ikraam  Ya Zul-Jalaali wal-Ikram Help us to put obedience to You above

prevent us from sinning against You, and enough obedience to
You to make us reach Your Paradise and enough certainty to
make difficulties of this world easy for us.

Allah ! The Equitable .You are the One who is Just in His judgment.

 Ya Al-Muqsit .You are the One who is Just in His judgment.

Al-Muqsit Protect us from the injustice of others, adorn us with reliance

sunan of yawm Al-Jumuah.
Al-Jaami'  Ya Al-Jaami’ Make us of those who join and stay with the

Ya Al-Jaami’ bring others together for good, and open our

Your shade.
 Ya Al-Jaami’ unify my heart with those who are righteous
believers so that we can encourage each other to do good and
to become closer to You.

Allah ! Al-Ghaniyy, we know that You need none and we all need You.

 Ya Al-Ghaniyy, Make us recognize our poverty in front of You

Al-Ghaniyy and always make us thankful for the wealth You bestow on us
and aid us to use it for Your sake.

Ya Al-Ghaniyy Adorn us with contentment with Your decree and
make us of those who give away from that which we love
Ya Al-Ghaniyy make me content with whatever blessings You

have granted me and bless me in it

 Ya Al-Ghaniyy I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure
provision and acceptable deeds.
 Allah! You are the Enricher, The One who satisfies the necessities of the creatures,
You are the One and Only Provider

Al-Mughni  Ya Al- Mughni we know that You are sufficient for us. Make us
of those who have firm belief in You, trust in You and turn to
You with all our affairs, big or small.

The Emancipator ‫المغني‬  Ya Al- Mughni, Make us of those who are content with Your
provisions, guide us to work hard and use Your provisions
The Bestower of wisely, and make us ponder them.
Sufficiency  Ya Al- Mughni make us realize You suffice all our needs, aid us
in sending forward good deeds to You and help us to fulfil the
needs of others

Allah, Al-Mani’! We know that You are The Withholder, The Preventer

 Ya Al-Mani’, we know that You are the One who ensures our
Al-Mani' well-being. Make us mindful of You in everything we do and aid
us in accepting and being content with Your decree in good and

hardships, to be overtaken by wretchedness and bad fate and
the rejoicing of enemies
Ya Al-Dharr I seek refuge in You from poverty, deficiency,
humiliation, that I wrong others or that I am wronged
 Ya Al-Daarr Put us under the Shade of Your Mercy and do not
be displeased with us.

Allah An-Nafi’ ! We know that You are the Bestower of all Gifts & Benefits

 Ya An-Naafi ’grant us a good end with all our matters and save
us from humiliation of this world and the torment of the
Hereafter
An Nafi'  Ya An-Naafi Keep me alive in a state of humbleness and grant

company of the humble ones.
The Benefactor  Ya An-Naafi I ask that You make whatever You have decree for
me a means of goodness for me. I ask You of paradise and

refuge in You from the Fire and the words and actions that will
draw me near to it.

and for my family
 Allah ! Al-Haadi, we know that You are the ultimate Guide.

 Ya Al-Haadi Guide us on the straight path and make us of those

who keep asking sincerely for Your guidance in every matter.
 Ya Al-Haadi Inspire us to be aware and thankful for Your
Guidance and aware of those who desire it. Aid us in inviting
Al-Haadi others to Islam and bless us with the ultimate guidance we

Ya Al-Haadi Please let me always turn to Your Quran and the
Provider of Guidance teachings and life of the prophet and with Your guidance find
support and ease.
 Ya Haadi- I beg for Your guidance, I am desperate for Your
guidance throughout my whole life. Bless me and my family
with Your guidance, without Your guidance we are lost, guide
as on the straight path.
Allah ! Al-Badee’, we know that You are the incomparable Originator.

Al-Badee'  Ya Al-Badee, Make us of those who follow Your rope, gain

correct knowledge of Your Book and the sunnah and protect us

The Unique One correctly, make us convey the message of Islam to others as
You revealed it and adorn us with complete faith and trust in
Your power to create and originate
Allah ! You are Al-Baaqi . While Everything will cease to exist. Only You will
Remain.

The Ever Enduring Your attributes and guide us to live by them.
96  Ya Al-Baaqi Inspire us to turn to You only and grant to us
and Immutable
eternal -life in the Gardens of Jannatul Firdaws
The Ever Surviving
 Ya Al-Baaqi I seek refuge in Your pleasure rather than Your
One anger and in You forgiveness rather than Your retribution and I
seek refuge in You from You.
Allah ! Al-Waarith, we know that You are the Inheritor of the heavens and
earth.

Al-Waarith  Ya Al-Waarith Aid us in using our worldly possessions to gain

Your pleasure, guide us in remembering frequently that we will

‫الوارث‬
The Heir return to You and make us act upon this knowledge.
97  Ya Al-Waarith- Help us to abide by Your laws and make us of
The Inheritor of All
those that will inherit the highest Paradise
The EternAl-
 Ya Al-Waarith- please leave me with an heir that will be a
Inheritor means of opening my doors to Jannat
 Ya Al- Waarith grant us a good end in all our matters and save
us from the torment of the Hereafter
Allah ! Al-Rasheed .You are the One who guides.

 Ya Ar-Rasheed Guide us on the straight path and make us of

those who keep asking sincerely for Your guidance in every
Ar Rasheed matter.

‫الرشيد‬
Ya Ar-Rasheed Guide me to the Siraat Al-Mustaqim until my
98 last breath and never let it be deviated in shirk, kufr or bid'ah.
The Guide, Infallible  Ya Ar-Rasheed guide me towards performing food accepted
Teacher, and Knower deeds for Your sake only
 Ya Ar-Rasheed guide me, my family (parents, spouse, children)
to the Siraat AL-Mustaqim until our last breath. Guide us
towards paths of peace and guide us from darkness towards
the light and save us from all kinds of obscenity
 Allah, As-Saboor, we know that You are The Patient, The One who does not
quickly punish the sinners

 Ya As-Saboor Make us seek Your help through Patience and

Prayers. Indeed You are patient. we know nothing but what You
As Saboor teach us.
 Ya As-Saboor Give us the strength and quality of beautiful
patience when enduring trials and hardship.

The Extensively
‫الصبور‬ 

Ya As-Saboor Rescue us from all difficulty of Our Life.
Ya As-Saboor Make us contemplate ourselves and the creation
around us, and assist us in accepting Your decree at all times
Enduring One  Ya As Saboor- please give me the greatest level of patience
The Forbearing and steadfastness in faith when I am enduring hardships and
trials in this life so that I can obtain the station of those that are
as-sabreen.
 Ya As-Saboor Make me patient and content with Your decree
as You are most knowledgeable and best of planners

have named Yourself with, revealed in Your Book, taught any one of Your creation or kept unto
