Prophet Muhammad ‫ ﷺ‬is on 12th Rabbil Awwal?
Ans) No it is not sure , but it is sure that he passed
away on 12th Rabbil Awwal
What am I celebrating then?
Should I celebrate Milad Un Nabi or not?

Question) Did Prophet Muhammad ‫ ﷺ‬celebrate it?


Ans) No
Question) Did Sahaba celebrate it?
Ans) No
Question) Did any of the four Imams celebrate it?
Ans) No

Whom Am I following then?

Maimon Al Qaddah In Egypt in 362 H who was A
wicked tyrant and an opressor . He was on kufr.
During his reign, innovations and sins were prevalent.

Who Am I following then?

Question)Did the Prophet not Fast every Monday?


Ans) Yes

Was it not because he was born


on Monday?
Prophet Muhammad ‫ ﷺ‬said:"Deeds are presented (to Allaah) on Monday and
Thursday and I like my deeds to be presented when I am fasting." (Tirmidhi--
saheeh by al-Albaani)

Question) What is wrong in showing my love this way to Prophet


Muhammad ‫ ? ﷺ‬Am I not obliged to love him as a Muslim?
Ans) Yes, but we are to love him the whole year not on a single day.

Then How to show our love the whole year?


Living his Sunnahs and not doing anything which he did not do.

"Say (O Muhammad): 'If you (really) love Allaah, then follow me, Allah will
love you and forgive you your sins. And Allaah is Oft-Forgiving, Most
Merciful." (Aal 'Imraan 3:31)

Question) How is it imitating non muslims?


Ans) Is it not like Christmas and Janmashtami?

I am really confused…..

It was narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Umar said: The Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬said:
“Whoever imitates a people is one of them.” Narrated by Abu Dawood,
3512; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani

Question) What is wrong in doing good deeds, doing charity and


feeding the poor this day?
Answer ) All this is not a sin, but doing it in the name of Milad and
selecting a specific day is not in Shariah.

I think it is a good and rewardable act, But


why is it a sin?
What about Music Played. Mixing with Non Mahrams in Juloos , is it also a
good act?

"The best of speech is the Book of Allaah, and the best of guidance
is the guidance of Muhammad. The most evil of things are those
which are newly-invented (in religion), and every innovation (bid'ah)
is a going astray." (Muslim).

Let me think and decide if celebrating Milad is


A biddah or not..Please Do not impose your
thoughts
