In the exigency of the service, you are hereby designated as SCHOOL DISASTER RISK
REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR/FOCAL PERSON of BALAWAN
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, Makilala Central District, effective immediately. This designation is
effective until such time it is revoked by this office.

With such designation, you are expected to perform the following official duties and functions
inherent to the position:

a. Acknowledge receipt of advisories and reminders from the PSDS and/or the DISTRICT
DRRM Coordinator/PSDS and/or the School Principal;
b. Spearhead the conduct of Multi-hazard drills and other disaster prevention, mitigation and
preparedness activities in district/schools; and
c. Serve as the point person for the collaborations and coordination/linkage and network with
local DRRM Council and other partner organizations.

This assignment/designation is in addition to your regular functions as Teacher 1 and will not
provide additional compensation/salary nor claims for priority in promotion, except reimbursement of
actual travelling expenses while on official travel.
