House Infos

Hello,

I have thought to let you know some things to make this easier for you to live here, and to take
good care of my apartment.

I hope you find these information useful for you future accommodation.

Tips & Tricks:

I recommend you to use the kitchen tumble dryer, it is very practical, but also use the clothespins
so the clothes don't fall off. If you drop something, there is no way to get down there, so you can
use a type of fishing rod that I have assembled, I have left it in the laundry room.

The heating has 3 quick modes of operation that can be changed as you wish: night, normal and
ice. I have left you the instructions for all the application modes in the TV closet in the dining
room.

I leave you a TV stand in the living room, you have the box in the laundry closet with it so you
can adapt the stand to any TV you want.

Also you can go up to the terrace of the building with the key of the gas, it's amazing the view up
there and you can find the place relaxing. But please be noticed that the neighbors are not very
pleased to go there often (although there should be no problem).

The common bathroom lights have a main remote to turn them off from the bathtub or to change
the color, giving a very relaxing touch to the bathrooms.

The walls are made of plasterboard and the normal dowels are not good to use it for these kind of
walls, but I have left some of plastic dowels in the laundry room, but I recommend using clips, it
is easier when hanging light paintings.

I want you to know that you have good home insurance at La Caixa which covers a lot of things
from the house for which I paid a lot, so if something happens please let me know and we will
try to get the insurance company and let them to handle and pay for it.
Neighbors are very strict with the garage closing because they want that everybody to wait the
door till is fully closed and be sure that nobody van enter. These precautions are for the burglars,
because they staled things in the past and there are also some neighbors who use their storage
spaces, you can also use it.

The days when it is not so cold, it is cheaper to use the air conditioning than the heater (gas) as
you don’t need to heat that much. The air is always recirculating, even if it reaches the target
temperature, but in minimum step it is bearly noticeable.

The water boiler takes hot water from the roof of the building if it has the open passage that has
it so don't worry about it.

The building has 2 antenna cables, one for satellite and one for DTT.

The vacuum in the kitchen and bathrooms should be always on and not turned off.

I must be sincere and notice you that sometimes you will see some bugs, especially in the
bathroom. It's not a big deal, and it doesn't happen often, but they've been around the building
since we arrived and the community haven't done anything yet. But you can use some sprays and
room deodorants against bugs which are easily to find into the supermarkets and always maintain
the space clean so you will avoid the unpleasant “visitors”.

Be careful on the terrace sometimes it gets very windy and can make things fly, luckily the
cushions have never flown. Some neighbors complained that there are people who throw
cigarette butts and fall to their terraces, but on this terrace luckily it has not happened so far, but
please do not do it, please use the ashtray.

You can also change the electricity, gas and electricity contracts if you want, but these I have
now are the cheapest, I have had no problems so far with them. The gas can be reduced even
more if you want by removing the service maintenance works, but I have put it this year to make
a review of the boiler.

Everything works as it should, if you find something wrong, or some problems please do not
hesitate to tell me. The heater can be controlled from a phone, as a remote if you want to look at
it, but the air conditioning from what I have seen not, but can be programmed to turn on at
certain times, and at certain temperatures.
I leave you some lights to change them if they broke, you can find the exchange lights into the
service bathroom.

Important Notice!

There are only 3 things I want you to be noticed.

The parquet floor is very delicate, you will have to be very careful not to scratch it as it is
extremely easy to scratch. Even with a bad vacuum cleaner it goes around leaving streaks.

As the first important thing I want to communicate is the fact that I don’t accept pets at all.

Please be careful at the widows as in this part of the building the wind blows very strong I want
you to pay attention and do not let the windows wide opened but only folded.

You also have to be very careful with the doors and their frames because if they get wet the
wood will swell and looks very ugly and unsightly since it bulges.

Above all, it is necessary to be very careful in the bathroom as the bathtub goes out or draws the
water out of the bathtub, it is very easy to get out and flood the room.

Please pay attention with the cupboard above the hob, it is very narrow and sensitive so if
something falls it can break the glass, it is also advisable to turn on the vacuum when water is
boiled so that the kitchen cabinets do not break and crack.

Be careful with the square shelf on the left, above the mini bar in the lounge, it has a precarious
installation and it would be advisable not to put much weight on it.

Thank you for understanding!

Best regards,

Mikel Samanes
