Work on the DR Console computer
1. Unpack and connect the cables
2. Connect the network cable to the hub
3. Power on the computer
4. Exit DR Console software (“IIP”)
 Hold <Shift> key and select “Shut Down”
in the “FCR” icon menu at the upper right
5. Change network settings if required

2. Capsula setup – Preparation
Work on the Capsula
1. Unload and place temporally
2. Check the accessories and options
3. Remove the protective retainers
4. Connect the power cable
5. Connect the network cable and hub

1. Turn on DR Console computer


Work on the operation panel of Capsula
2. Power on and go into “Maintenance Mode”
1. Turn on the circuit breaker
2. Press and hold the 1st and 3rd buttons from the left,
then turn on the power switch
3. Set the network parameters of RU and FTP server
 IP address, subnet mask, and gateway of the Capsula
 IP address of the connecting DR Console
 CR Console works as the FTP server
4. Check the network connection

2. Capsula setup – software setup and transfer

Work on the DR Console computer


 Use “CR-IR359 Application Software V3.2 CD-ROM”

1. Press “INSTALL” and install “RU PC-TOOL”


 Select “For FTP-Server” to install
2. Press “START” and “INSTALL” to continue
1. Select the latest version
2. Select appropriate language
3. Select “EU (FDUS)” for “BRAND TYPE”
4. Select “HOSPITAL” to activate barcode reader feature
Or select “CLINIC” to disable barcode reader feature
3. Press “SET” to continue (three time)
- 15 min. waiting is normal -
Do NOT turn off RU nor DR Console computer
while the blue LED above the power switch is ON

Work on the DR Console computer


1. Start Service Utility [IN-A2]
1. Start DR Console computer or execute “FCR”
shortcut from the Start menu
2. While the start up screen of the DR Console
software is displayed, click on “FUJIFILM” and
“Image Intelligence” icons at the top left and
right
3. Enter password if it is activated

[SYSTEM CONFIG] -> [1. IMAGE MODALITY]
 Change No. 21 item
 “1: N-N” for the system with barcode reader
 “2: N-N (Not Use IP Barcode)” for the system
without barcode reader but with FR mode enabled

Work on the DR Console computer


[NETWORK CONFIG] -> [ALL OTHER NODES]
1. Click on “NEW” button
 Enter “ru0” for the RU hostname
 Enter the IP address of the RU
 Select “FRUP” (FUJIFILM Reader Unit Protocol) for “Add Node”
2. Click on “OK” button
 Select “CASSETTE”
 Enter the button label (Currently the label not used)
3. Click on “OK” button

[CONNECTING EQUIPMENT]
1. Click on “New” button
 Select “READER” for “Function”
 Select “ru0” for “Equipment #1”
2. Click on “OK” button
3. Save the configuration by “Config(F)” menu

Skip this page if there is no barcode reader to configure


Work on the DR Console computer
1. Open the device manager
2. Open the property dialog of the barcode reader
 Search in “Human Interface Devices” type
 Update the driver for the barcode reader
 Identify the reader by comparing the devices before and
after the barcode reader
 If the reader is in “usb bcr USB device”, the driver has
already been installed and no need to re-install
3. Install the correct driver software
 Select the driver manually from the list
 The driver is pre-installed and no other media is required

3. Remove the retaining tapes [IN-20 5.1]
4. Configure film tray [IN-20 5.4]
5. Install sorter [IN-43]

Work on the Drypix Plus [IN-51 7]

1. Power on and go into “M-Utility”


1. Turn on the circuit breaker
2. Touch the upper left and the upper right on the
panel while the software version is displayed
2. Setup system configuration, panel, power
supply voltage and network parameters
 Film type and sorter setting also required
3. Exit M-Utility and restart Drypix Plus

1. Connect the servicing PC on the network
2. Start DI-Tool
 Register hospital and printer information
 Register network information
 Transfer the individual data (“Indv. data”) from
Drypix Plus
 Register a new modality
 Transfer modified configuration data to printer
 Update the main unit software if required

Work on the DR Console computer


1. Insert “DR-ID 300CL DICOM Print Key Software” CD-ROM
 Select “Continue” to install

2. Insert “DR-ID 300CL Application Key Software” CD-ROM


 Select “OK” to activate CR Console
“Application Key Software” CD-ROM is always necessary
to activate DR Console Software
Otherwise DR Console will be terminated as “incomplete
installation error”
“Application Key Software” CD-ROM is a service tool

 Enter “FCR-CSL” for “Application Entity Name”
 No need to change the port number
3. Click on “New” button
 Select “BasicGrayscalePrint” for “Abstract Syntax”
 Select “SCU” for “Role”
4. Click on “OK” Button

[NETWORK CONFIG] -> [ALL OTHER NODES]

1. Click on “NEW” button


 Enter “drypix4000plus” for hostname and the IP address
of the DRYPIXPLUS
 Select “DICOM” for “Add Node”
2. Click on “OK” button
 Enter “DRYPIXPLUS” for “Application Entity Name”
 Enter “104” for “Port Number”

 Select “BasicGrayscalePrint” for “Abstract Syntax”
 Select “SCP” for “Role”
 Check “SH” for “Acceptable Density”
 Select “SUPPORTED” for “Requested Image Size”
 Select “3.0” for “Dmax”
 Check the film sizes to be used for “Film Size ID”
5. Click on “OK” button

Verify Connection”
and select “Verify Connection button
2. Select “drypix4000plus” for “HostName or IP
address”
3. Select “DRYPIXPLUS” for “SOP AE Title”
4. Click on “Ping Network” to check TCP/IP connection
to the DRYPIX4000Plus
5. Click on “Verify Connection” to verify DICOM
connection to the DRYPIX4000Plus

 Use the optional software CD-ROM
 Insert the CD-ROM and select “Continue”

 Insert “DR-ID 300CL Application Key Software” CD-ROM


 Select “OK” to activate CR Console
“Application Key Software” CD-ROM is always necessary
to activate DR Console Software
Otherwise DR Console will be terminated as “incomplete
installation error”
“Application Key Software” CD-ROM is a service tool

Work on the service PC
 Use “DI-Tool”
1. Get the current “Indv. data” in Drypix Plus
2. Go to
“C:\Program Files\FUJIFILM\DRYPIX
\Printers\[Hospital]_[Printer]”
3. Archive the following folders
- “Indv”
- “\Log\AnalysisDirectory\[YYMMDDHHMMSS]”
and send to medsupport@fujifilm.ae

Image file collection – DR Console
Work on the DR Console computer
 Use DR Console
Identify the image IDs concerned from the study list.

 Use Service Utility


1. Select “Retrieve EDR Backup Data” button
2. Choose the identified image IDs and save. No
need to copy the files manually. Image files are in
C:\Program Files\Fujifilm\IIP\Data\Image
3. Archive all the related files and send to
medsupport@fujifilm.ae
