Some people are not acquainted with World Car Free

Day. How do you plan to advertise it?

We would create a big campaign, the name of this campaign

would be “A DAY A LIFE” and I advertised in social medial
creating a plan for each of them, for example, For the radio I
would create a commercial and for the Tv Channel too and also
for the Newspaper and Magazine I would create an article or
feature with the porpoise of this campaign.

Also, I would move it in the “Influencers Market” I would talk to

some affluent people from Maracaibo like Julio Urribarri, Andria
Viloria or Thayen Valbuena to ask for help with the publicity. I
would do it this like 3 months before the Car Free Day because it
could reach many people if done in advance.
 COMMON QUESTIONS

The streets just outside the car free zone will be filled with
vehicles. What will you do to handle that situation?

According to my plan I will tell to the mayor about the situation and
a I will tell him some advises to handle the situation:

• Close the streets that are free just allow the passage of motorcycles, bicycles or any
vehicle other than cars.
• Tell to the police to take the control on the street in the pacific way.
• The police have to be in bicycle because they’re ecofriendly that day.
• Tell people for social media. PLEASE TO NOT USE THE CAR!
• Offer fun activities that they can do at home
• Create a big plan with the with the merchants of the city to create, the next day, a
“Black Friday” in entertainment venues such as shopping centers, cinemas, parks, etc.
only if people use other means of transport.
 COMMON QUESTIONS
How will your plans be coordinated with the public
transportation system where you live?
• A new timetable will be make for the buses to constantly
make the route and this will be able to transport more
passengers.
• More bus stops will be placed to avoid crowding of
people at the other stops.
• A free line of taxis will be enabled in case you need
transportation to move quickly to another place.
How will your prepare drivers for road closures and
any other inconveniences?
The public will be warned with previous days to they know
that the avenue will be closed and only buses, bicycles and
others will be able to pass and warn that if you do not want
to participate in the car free day, the best would be to avoid
the main street of the event to avoid inconveniences.
We will also recommend in our campaign that if you have a
bicycle, use it that day to transport to another place.
