cylinder beads
● Width 4.6cm / 1.8"
(34 columns)
● length 17.2cm /6.9"

● Made with Two drop odd
peyote stitch.
● The palette that is used in this project is Miyuki Delicas 11/0 and there are a total of 3332 beads
in twenty one colors (or colours if you are reading this in the uk). Below there is a legend that
lists the colors and their word chart code. You will be making the pattern from top to bottom so
if you want to check your progress check the top of the pattern in the last page of this
document not the bottom. The first row of the pattern is right to left. A summary of these details
are provided in the legend below.
● First of all, you "load" the beads that will make the first two rows of the pattern. To make it easier
to understanding I have color-coded the first 3 rows for you, The colors I have used are not the
actual bead colors!
This is a two drop peyote so we have separated the word chart into 9 columns instead of 18
with two beads in each column and you will see that the even rows (in the light yellow) have 2
less beads than the odd rows.
When you start beading you will be picking up all 18 beads of the first row starting with the
bead highlighted orange and ending with brown. After the first row's beads you'll pick up the
second row's 16 beads starting with purple and finishing with blue. So far you were beading
from right to left. Now for the third row you will go left to right across the pattern . (see arrows
next to the rows).
You will start the third row with the red bead and finish it with the green bead. You will turn
again to row 4 and will bead from right to left. From here you just follow the pattern and if you
have any questions, please contact me.
