Modified Triangle weave tutorial and Sweethearts

bracelet pattern by jayceepatterns

This beautiful bracelet is done in Modified Triangle weave (MTW).

I have included a full tutorial for MTW as well as a pattern for the
bracelet pictured above. Both the tutorial and the pattern have been laid
out in steps with diagrams and text.
You can use any 4mm beads and size 11/o seed beads for the tutorial.
The following materials are needed for the Sweethearts pattern:
The bracelet in the picture above is 6.25 inches WITHOUT the clasp.
If you need a longer bracelet, you can extend the bracelet at both ends.

90 x 4mm Czech pearls (Jablonex) in Beet red or plum (www.shipwreckbeads.com)

80 x 4mm Czech fire-polished rounds (pearl white from www.shipwreckbeads.com )
22 x 4mm Czech fire-polished rounds in metallic gold (14k gold coated from
www.shipwreckbeads.com)
400 (3 grams) size 11/o Toho permanent galvanized seed beads from
www.cbbeads.com
You can attach the clasps according to the tutorial or use any clasp/s of your
choice.

Remember to buy more beads if you want a longer bracelet.

B18 B12 B13 B14 In order to make the Sweethearts

B19 B16
pattern I decided to do this tutorial
which will teach you how to do a
B20 B17 B15 modified Triangle weave stitch.

B22 B21 B24 B25 B27 B28 When doing this tutorial and pattern,
the most important thing to remember
B26 is to pick up 1 size 11/o seed bead
B23
BEFORE AND AFTER EVERY SINGLE
4MM BEAD. This is what creates
B18 B16 B12 B13 B14
B19 the little circles in the pattern.
I recommend that you do this tutorial
and then do the Sweethearts pattern.
If you have any problems or questions
regarding this tutorial, please contact
Juanita.Carlos@gmail.com

If you feel disorientated at any time,

turn the beadwork according to the
layout so you can continue.

Pattern repeats itself

Helpful tips: Triangle weave is very similar to RAW (single needle) except you
are using 3 beads instead of 4. The first triangle will be clockwise and the second
triangle will be anti-clockwise etc.

When you are finished stitching the bracelet, before you add the clasp, you can
weave through the whole bracelet again to go around all the little gold circles and
pull them together. This can also be done while you are stitching, but I don't recomend
it to start with if you have never done this stitch before. The more you do this stitch, the
easier it becomes.
