Trip to Jerusalem
Step 1. The game starts with any number of players and a number of chairs one
fewer than the number of players. In other words, if you have 10 players (10 boys
and 10 girls) who are participating the game, you must have only 9 chairs to use and
so on and so forth.
Step 2. Arranged in a circle or oval formation facing outward, with the people
standing in a circle just outside of that.
Step 3. Ask somebody to play a recorded music or a musical instrument. While the
music is playing, the players in the circle walk in one direction around the chairs.
NOTE: iikot ang mga boys clockwise; while ang mga girls ay iikot
counterclockwise.
Step 4. When the music player suddenly stops the music, everyone must race to sit
down in one of the chairs. The player who is left without a chair is eliminated from
the game.
Step 5. Removed one chair to ensure that there will always be one fewer chair than
the number of players are players.
Step 6. Resume the music and the process repeats until there is only one player
left in the game, who is the winner.
When down to the last two players the chair may be moved as long as the music has
stopped before the chair has been touched.
