CHRISTMAS IN MY FAMILY

We have many holidays and all are wonderful, but the most wonderful of all is
Christmas. The most beautiful celebration in my opinion is and will remain Christmas. It is also
the long awaited day because of the presents: friends and relatives give gifts to each other and
they are also thinking at the other children who don’t have money to afford something. So my
family and I buy presents for those who are in need. We buy them sweets, fruits, vegetables,
clothes and a little toy to play with.
Another reason why Christmas is liked by us is that we decorate the fir three with lots of
lights and angels. During the Christmas in the house there is a smell of cakes which we will
share with the carolers because in the Christmas Eve the house is full of carolers. When the
sound of carols is heard by us far away from our house and the night comes I can’t wait to hear
the children who are coming to sing blessed carols which help Santa to find easier the path
towards our village.
Christmas means more for me than decorating the fir tree and smelling the cakes or baked
apples. It is the holiday that brings unlimited joy to people’s souls from all over the country. It is
the day when Christians gather in churches to celebrate the birth of the Jesus. Christmas fills our
souls with love, peace and happiness. Christmas means for me a huge amount of kindness. We
must be kind with those around us because Christmas should be a reason for each of us to try to
be good with those around us. Let’s open our souls more even if there are many problems which
made us become worse.
Let the joy and kindness guide us. Feel the spirit of Christmas!
