MAIN IDEA
One of the essential things in creating animations is the use of text. Since Synfig Studio considers everything on the Stage as
objects, the transformation modes like scaling and skewing can also be applied to texts.

TEXT TOOL
 The Text Tool is used to insert text in Synfig Studio. It is found in the toolbar, or you may simply press T to instantly use this
tool.
There are three text types in Synfig Studio:
 Static Text 
 Dynamic
 Input
FONT FAMILY
 The font family lists all of the different fonts you can use for your animation. 
FONT STYLE
 Applying font style allows you to further customize your text by setting the lightness or heaviness of your text. 
FONT SIZE
 The font size can be utilized for differentiating titles from content. Titles usually have bigger font sizes, while contents are
usually smaller than titles.
FONT COLOR
 You can combine and apply different colors to different texts.

 Open The Planet activity
 Add Text
o The alien looked around him.
o Each day was the same. The grass grew and the flowers bloomed.
o He wanted to see something different.
 Save the Synfig Document.
 Exit Synfig.
