Future Directions

Future research includes many instrument such as interviewing, observing and

investigating the quality of the parent involvement rather than the quantity. The type,

quality and amount of time involvement of the parents may report to help the researchers

to better understand the importance of parent involvement in order to help their children

at home, which in turn can benefit them at school. This kind of research would be

beneficial to children, parents as well as to educators. The self-reports of the parents may

not be reliable to represent the quality and quantity of their involvement but not as

accurate at it is and that is why the teacher report regarding parent involvement could

also be beneficial to future research. The current study sought to find a positive

correlation between parent involvement and student achievement. And it is clear that the

future researchers need to consider many aspects to measure the parent involvement than

to simply report themselves and assessment measures. Understanding the quality of

involvement can further benefit early intervention programs and student success and

educational outcomes.
