Types of evaluation

Placement evaluation- determine entry behavior. It determines the knowledge and skills he possess at
the beginning

Formative evaluation- determine specific LEARNING ERRORS, provide information for making instruction
and remedial work more effective. Ex. Biggest number?

Diagnostic evaluation- determine STUDENTS DIFFICULTIES and detects underlying causes

Summative evaluation- aims to assess the STUDENT'S ACHIEVEMENT at the end of the learning process

KINDS OF TEST

INTELLIGENCE TEST- It is a test which measure the IQ of individual. As very superior, superior, high
average, low average, borderline or mentally defective

Personality test- measure the ways in which individuals interest with other individual

Aptitude test- is a predictive measures of a person’s likelihood from instruction or experience in a given
field.

Speed test - measure the speed and accuracy of the examinee within the time limits imposed. Also

Standardized test- provide exact procedure in controlling the method of administration. Ex. Board exam
