SPOKEN POETRY MECHANICS

1. All interested coresci Students are welcome to join the competition;

2. The piece should be written in Tagalog;
3. It should be created/ owned composition (Copying of piece from the internet or other
sources is strictly prohibited);
4. It must be presented within 3-5 minutes;
5. Do not use profane and harsh words;
6. The piece must be connected to theme;
7. Costumes or props must be appropriate to topic; and

Criteria for Judging %

Content 35%
-The piece should be related to the topic/theme
Delivery/Role Presentation
-Feelings
-Eye Contact
-Facial Expression (genuine, humble and natural to help 25%
communicate your message)
-Audience Impact
-Clarity
Memorized without being flat
-performing without sounding memorized or that reciting lines 25%
-The piece should be created and owned composition
Voice Inflection and Variation
-Interesting and unique figure of speech, sound devices 10%
(alliteration, rhyme, and repetition)
Costumes/ Props 5%
-Related to the topic/theme

1. Lahat ng interesadong mag-aaral ng Core Science Academy ay malugod na tinatanggap upang sumali
sa kumpetisyon;
2. Ang piece ay dapat isulat sa Tagalog;
3. Ito ay dapat likhain / pag-aari komposisyon (Pagkopya ng piece mula sa internet o iba pang mga
mapagkukunan ay mahigpit na ipinagbabawal);
4. Ito ay kailangang iharap sa loob ng 3-5 minuto;
5. Huwag gumamit ng lapastangan at malupit na salita;
6. Ang piece ay dapat nakakonekta sa tema;
7. Ang mga costume o props ay kailangang angkop sa paksa;

- Pangmukha Expression (tunay, mapagpakumbaba at natural 25%
upang makatulong na ipaalam ang iyong mensahe)
-Epekto ng manunuod
-Kalinawan
Memorized without being flat/Originality
- gumaganap nang walang tunog memorized o na pagbigkas ng 25%
mga linya
- Ang piece ay dapat likhain at pag-aari ang komposisyon

- Kawili-wili at natatangin ang pananalita, tunog aparato 10%
(alliteration, rhyme, at pag-uulit)

- Ang kasuotan ay dapat nakakonekta sa tema
