Opening Remarks

To our Professor Yasmin Espina Andaloc, honored guests, faculty members, and fellow students
I cordially welcome you to this year's Variety show entitled Spectacle de Variété 2022.
I believe that the language of singing and dancing is easily understood and clear to everyone. It helps
to convey emotions and experiences; it is an expression of freedom and inspiration, and in a wider
sense, it can demonstrate national traditions and customs. This event is not only meaningful for me
but also to all of the performers, primarily, as it provides them with an avenue where they can
showcase their talents and abilities - to believe in themselves despite the challenges brought by the
agitation, may it be physical, mental, emotional and psychological. It is indeed gratifying for me to
see that this artistic event was pushed through. That is why I would also want to take this opportunity
to thank everyone who made this event possible. From our professor, faculty members, and fellow
students, thank you all so much. As for the performers, from the bottom of my heart, I wish you all
creative success. May the experience you gained here in this performance allows you to go
confidently to new heights, victories, and accomplishments! Once again thank you and good evening.
