(Introduction)
Aguam: Good DayHello Ladies and gentlemento all of you! Mmy name is Walid Aguam,
and I am Trixie Marie Quisay Quisay we are your host. We extend a heartfelt greeting to
everyone attending today's event. We are truly honored to have esteemed guests, including my
fellow classmates, our beloved English professor, ladies and gentlemen none other than Professor
Esmeralda Metillo. Welcome to our variety program today, entitled STOP, LOOK and LEARN,
wherewhere students from Building and Enhancing, New Literacies Across Curriculum perform.
Trixie: And for today’s theme is all about being literate in every aspect of literacies with Our ever-
supportive English professor Metillo, who attended our event, is greatly appreciated. All of this
would mean nothing without her. Great performances from this class
will be seen by all of you todaynight. So, be sure to follow along and help us out until the event is
over.
Trixie: To start with, may we request everyone to stand for the invocation to be led by
Aguam: Please be seated. To formally open the program, it will now be the turn of Ms.
Kate Surban to come onto the stage for her opening remarks. Around of applause for her, please!
Aguam: Thank you very much for that wonderful speech, Ms Kate!
Aguam: Moving forward, allow me to introduce to you the fantastic English professor
that we have with us today who will be giving, her commentaries on the participants’
performances.
Trixie: We have with us here today Prof. Esmeralda Metillo, who finished her Master of
Arts in Teaching General Education in 1987 at MSU-Marawi City, and Completed the Academic
Requirement in Masters in Arts in English Language, Teaching in 1989 at the University of San
Carlos Cebu City, also Completed Academic Requirement in Doctor of Education at the
University of San Carlos Cebu City. And lastly, she took up a Religion Teacher Course at Stella
Maris College, Oroquita City. So help me welcome our very humble and beautiful Professor
Aguam: And now, the students under Building and Enhancing New Literacies Across
Curriculum are most likely required to perform a play that will showcase the capability of how
Trixie: Role play is the acting out of a character or role in a given scenario. To act and
speak as if you are the character you're portraying. To roleplay is as much about what not to say
as what TO say. It means to keep your speech in the context of the setting in which your character
Trixie: For our first presenter, let’s give a big round of applause to Mr Walid Aguam,
AFTER PERFORMANCE
Trixie: Wow! Such incredible talent we have here at IMCC. Words fail to describe their
stage.
Aguam: Our second presenter are studious student of our beloved school. In class, they
might have different personalities but now let us witness as they perform a play about Artistic and
Aguam: Wow that was indeed a great performance from our second performer. Correct
me if I’m wrong partner, but they just proved to us that they are not just made of beautiful faces
do.
Trixie: Now, to bring you to the next level of excitement, our next performer is none
other than Ms Melody Leonar, Marsheil Surban and Ms Waffah Walid. Put your hands together

Aguam : Up next is a performance that will enlighten us about the misconception that we
are dealing with in our day-to-day life. Let’s give a big hand to the group presenter.
After performance
Trixie: Stage has been set on fire, isn’t it guys? Back-to-back outstanding performances
Aguam:Josh: Next up is a jingle performance presented by the group one. So, let’s give
Aguam: We have such super-talented students among all of the students who have participated
in this event to show their talents and this program is specially arranged for them.
Trixie: We congratulate everyone for a job well done! For exerting all your efforts on making
Aguam: Ladies and gentlemen! We have come now to the end of this Variety Show. I am
certain that everyone is satisfied with the performances showcased by our fellow classmates and
schoolmates. At this juncture, to deliver the closing remarks, we are pleased to have, Ms Jenie Lucero.
Trixie: Thank you so much for that wonderful speech, Ms Lucero And thank you so much to
everyone who participated in this event, without you guys, this Variety Show wouldn’t be as successful
patience, I wish you all a very good evening. Once again, I am your host for tonight’s event, Walid
