JEPZEN: May I request everyone to settle down for in a short while we are to start
our program. But before that, please be reminded of the following House Rules.
1. Students must be in proper uniform
2. No bullying
3. Throwing or acts that might hurt others is not allowed
4. No one is allowed to leave until the event is over
5. Once the event is done, everyone must see to it to go home.

CLARIBEL: United Nations Day is being celebrated across the countries as it


symbolizes peace and cultural diversity. It is being anticipated with glee each year as
it showcases a parade of national costumes, flags, and even musical performances.

CLARIBEL: To our school principal, Dr. Gina R. Poblete, our Master Teachers,
fellow teachers, parents, learners, friends, ladies and gentlemen, good morning! On
behalf of the Araling Panlipunan Department, we would like to extend a very warm
welcome to all of you. We appreciate you taking time off to be here present today
and witness this grandiose event we prepared. I am Maam Claribel (and I am Ma’am
Jepzen), welcome to this year’s Kapitan Eddie T. Reyes Integrated School’s United
Nation’s Day.

PRAYER & NATIONALISTICS SONG

CLARIBEL: To formally start our program, let us invoke the presence of our
Almighty God though the opening prayer, followed by the singing of the Nationalistic
song and KERIS hymn. Please all rise.

OPENING REMARKS

JEPZEN: We are gathered here today to celebrate United Nation’s Day with the
theme, The Future We Want, The UN We need: Reaffirming our collective
Commitment to Multilateralism”. We are pleased to have our beloved JHS – SHS
SSG ADVISER and JHS – AP Coordinator, Mrs. Chona Mae Y. Pascua to give the
opening remarks. A round of applause please!

INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE

CLARIBEL: Thank you so much Mrs. Chona Mae Y. Pascua for your heart-warming
words of welcome. Now, to give us an inspirational message here with us now
gracing our event is one among the pillars of our beloved school, everyone join me in
welcoming Mrs Recy Lazona, Master Teacher.

INTRODUCING THE PANEL OF JUDGES

JEPZEN: Thank you Mrs. Mauricia Lazona for those kind words, indeed a very
encouraging and motivational one. At this juncture, allow us to introduce to you our
honorable judges. The first judge is a graduate of Bachelor of Elementary in 2012 at
Mount Carmel College, Escalante City Negros Occidental. He is currently taking
Master’s degree in Education Management at Polytechnic University of the
Philippines-Taguig. A MAPEH teacher at Kapt. Eddie T. Reyes Integrated School.
The one and only and ever active Mr. Jim Spencer Buenafe Llavore. A big hand
please!

CLARIBEL: The Second judge is one among our school’s competitive educator as
she hold different designation which are really important. She is our schools’ ICT
Coordinator, School Information Coordinator, and LIS-BEIS Coordinator. At present
she is completing her thesis for her master’s degree at Philippine Normal University-
Manila. Friends, our ever-dependable Ma’am Dyan Twinkle P. Dignadice. A round of
applause please!

JEPZEN: Our third judge is a graduate of Bachler or Secondary Education – Major in


English at Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Taguig (1998). She gained her
master’s degree at Taguig City University in 2018– Major in Educational
Management. With her 18 Years in service as a public-school teacher and 13 years as
Journalism Trainer/ School Paper Adviser, indeed her dedication is bound
incomparable. Everyone our very own, Mrs. Lilibeth Sta. Cruz Master Teacher I. A
round of applause please!

Presentation of Candidates for Mr. and Ms. United Nations 2022

CLARIBEL: With all these costumes and preparations, let us ask ourselves: what do
we really know about the United Nations and its purposes? You partner?

JEPZEN: Thank you for that wonderful question partner! (Funny)


Anyway partner, since we are an A.P teacher, let me give some information about the
UN. The UN was established after World War II with the aim of preventing future
wars, succeeding the ineffective League of Nations. Its purpose was to promote peace
and cooperation around the world. Today the United Nations is an organization made
up of 193 countries, almost every nation in the world! The event was to be observed
by all member countries. United Nations Day continues to be celebrated globally, as
part of United Nations Week. As we all know, United Nations is composed of several
countries and we are lucky today to see those countries being portrayed by candidates
Mr. and Ms. United Nations 2022!

CLARIBEL: What a great answer partner! And now, this is the moment that we’ve
been waiting for, the production number of our Mr. and Ms. United Nations 2022.
With pride and glee, let us all welcome our candidates for this year’s Search for Mr.
and Ms. United Nation!

JEPZEN: Wow! We really do have beautiful and handsome students here, don’t we?
Again, Let’s give them around of applause.

INTERPRETATIVE DANCE

CLARIBEL: Moving on, we are about to witness a kind of dance that translates
human emotions and dramatic expression through interpretative dance. To give us a
glimpse of this boundless and beautiful dances, may I call on the students from Grade
7 followed by Grade 9.

JEPZEN: That was a heart touching performance! Thank you grade 7 and grade 9.
(adlib depende sa performance nila)

TALENT PORTION

CLARIBEL: Showcasing individual talents has always been a part of pageantry. And
now let us all be mesmerized with the performance of our candidates who put in a lot
of hard work as they prepare for it. Let’s welcome! Our Mr. and Ms. United Nations!

CLARIBEL: Let’s welcome the first pair from Grade 10 who will showcase their
talent. Jenny Deala and Kyle Faeldonea.

JEPZEN: 2nd pair from Grade 8. We have Ziel John Recto and Althea Abing.

CLARIBEL: And now let’s witness the talent of Chaizee Atienza and Panfilo
Sorenio from grade 9.

JEPZEN: Let’s witness the talent of Angelika Kate Trapane and Enrst Kreisler
Bacerra from grade 8.

CLARIBEL: And now Candidate number 5: John Dave Franada and Mclin Louise
Sajol

JEPZEN: We have Candidate number 6: Emmanuel Hechanova and Krishia Agustin

CLARIBEL: Let’s welcome Candidate number 7: Daphny Regrine Macanaya and


Mike Frances T. Estillore.
JEPZEN: And last but not the least from Grade 9 Cleosyr Chantel Mangaliman and
Jomer Nathan Ibasitas

JEPZEN: That was such a world-class performance! Thank you, so much dear
candidates.

INTERPRETATIVE DANCE

CLARIBEL: At this juncture, Let’s sit back and relax as we continue to be amazed
by the dance presentation of Grade 8 followed by Grade 10! A big hand, please!

JEPZEN: That was such an amazing performance! Thank you, so much dear
learners, for entertaining us with your wonderful talent in dancing.

NATIONAL COSTUME

CLARIBEL: And now, to bring us to the places that we have never been, let us all
welcome the representatives from each grade level to showcase the different countries
around the world!
CLARIBEL: Let’s welcome the first pair from Grade 10 who will showcase the
National Costume from Philippines, Jenny Deala and Kyle Faeldonea.
JEPZEN: And the 2nd pair from Grade 8 with their national costume from England,
we have Ziel John Recto and Althea Abing.
CLARIBEL: And now let’s witness the national costume of grade 9 Chaizee Atienza
and Panfilo Sorenio from the continent of Columbia.
Jepzen: Next is the national costume from Germany, Let’s have Angelika Trapane
and Ernst Kreisler Bacerra of grade 8.
CLARIBEL: And now from Grade 7 John Dave Franada wearing his national
costume from Canada and McLin Louise Sajol wearing her national costume from
Brazil.

JEPZEN: Next are Emmanuel Hechanova wearing his national costume from Mexico
and Krishia Agustin from Puerto Rico of grade 7.

Clang: Now, let’s witness the national costume of Grade 10, Daphny Regrine
Macanaya and Mike Frances T. Estillore from Thailand.

JEPZEN: Last but not the least, Cleo Mangaliman and Nathan Ibasitas of grade 9
wearing their national custome from Argentina

JEPZEN: Thank you so much candidates for letting us see and appreciate the
dazzling and appealing costumes of the different countries of the world.

QUESTION & ANSWER


JEPZEN: Now, it is time for our candidates to take on the toughest hurdle this
afternoon. Let us get to know more of our beautiful and handsome candidates through
the Question-and-Answer portion. So, this is how it goes. Each candidate will be
given a single QUESTION only. It will be the same for all as this will show their wit
and character as well. While others are waiting for their queue, they will be staying in
a single room not hearing the question and answer given by other candidates. Best of

CLARIBEL: While waiting for the results, an entertainment will be given by one
among the talents that our school have. May we call on our handsome and talented
student from Grade 9, John Oral Pastoral for a special number.

JEPZEN: Thank you for that very cool performance!

AWARDING OF WINNERS

JEPZEN: Let us give a round of applause to our Judges for all their expertise,
dedication and hard work. Now let’s find out the winners of Interpretative Dance.

JEPZEN: Now, this is it everyone. The road to the crown has ended and we get to
reveal the ones who reaped at the peak. Our long anticipation is over! Ready naba
kayo? Are you all excited? Who will be our next Mr and Ms United Nations 2022.
Goodluck Candidates, you all did great today, you are all handsome and beautiful
with a heart so may the best one wins! Para sa paggawad ng mga nanalo, tinatawagan
po ang ating mga judges sa stage, Mr. Llavore, Mrs. Lazona and Ms. Dignadice. And
now may we call on Mr. Junlie Luna for the announcement of winners.

JEPZEN&CLARIBEL: Congratulations to all of the candidates and winners!

CLARIBEL: Indeed, people may come from different nations, but the important
thing is to be educated for us to know and be aware of the differences each nation
have. Through this, we maintain a peace and harmonious relationship with each other.

JEPZEN: Now, that we have to come to the end of this momentous event, may I
request our KERISTA President and Chairman of this event, Mr. Junlie M. Luna for
the closing remarks. A big hand, please!

CLARIBEL: Thank you everyone and to all the working committees who have
extended their helping hands, to all the parents who have showed their support and
cooperation and to everyone who is present here this afternoon as well as to the
teachers and advisers endless support, without you all this activity will not be
successful!
