Introduction: On October 24, 1945, 51 countries came together to create United Nations. It is currently made up of
193 Member States. Its purpose was to promote peace and cooperation around the world. Celebrating United
Nations Day can be done by getting to know about this great organization and the differences it make in our lives.
This afternoon, we will present the muses and consorts of U.N Member Nations.

PART II.
MP: The United Nations (UN) is an international organization established on October 24, 1945 to promote
international cooperation. It was founded to replace the League of Nations following World War II and to prevent
another conflict. It is currently made up of 193 Member States with the following goals: to keep world peace, to
help countries get along, to improve living conditions for people all over the world and to make the world a better
place. Thus, schools throughout the Philippines and around the world celebrate the annual UN month every
October to acknowledge its significance.
MP/EM: Ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon and welcome to the much awaited day: the Coronation Ceremonies
of Miss and Mr. United Nations 2019 with the theme “International Year of Indigenous Languages.
EM: To start with this momentous event may we request everybody to please stand for the singing of National
Anthem, to be followed by a doxology to be led by Rhian Zeph Tiwana and Himno sang Tigbauan with Mrs. Josie
Jarina, Teacher III, conducting.
4. Opening Remarks
MP: To accommodate us with his words of welcome let’s give a big hand to our dedicated and committed TCES
principal II, Mr. Roland T. Genine.
EM: And now…prepare your eyes for the entrance of the Royal Court. Starting off with…(See Biodata)

EM: Intro. As the highest rulers of this kingdom march to their thrones, it is but proper to welcome them with love
and sincerity as we shower flowers their ways. Let us acknowledge the

MP: Let’s proceed to the pinning of sashes to the muses and their escorts. For Miss UN 2019 Jamella Marie Corda,
may I call in Mr. Felix Gomez ,the uncle and Mrs. Ma. Asuncion Tumabotabo adviser to do the honor.
For Mr. UN 2019 Rhey Steven Tacan may I call in the parents. Mr. and Mrs. Steven Tacan.

Member 1st District of Iloilo.

EM: At this juncture, we are about to listen to the glowing and warm tribute of praise as Mr. Roel Tulayba delivers
the encomium. Let us give him a round of applause.

18. Awarding of Prizes to the Winners in the Best National Costume, Giving of Certificates to Parents and
Teachers
EM: At this point of time, we will award prizes to the winners in the best national costume.
