INDUCTION & TURN-OVER CEREMONIES AND ACQUAINTANCE PARTY SCRIPT

INDUCTION CEREMONIES

Joyce: Good evening, Ladies and Gentlemen./ May we have your attention please? / We are about to start
our program so please be seated,/turn your mobile phones into silent mode / and make yourselves
comfortable.

Geneve: Jim Rohn once said, “Whoever renders service to many puts himself in line for greatness, great
wealth, great return, great satisfaction, great reputation, and great joy.”

Joyce and Geneve: A pleasant evening to one and all.

Joyce: Tonight, we shall witness the 2023 Induction Ceremonies of Parents and Teachers Association,
from the homeroom to the general organization.

Geneve: To formally start our program, may we request everyone to please rise as we give reverence to
the Almighty Father through a prayer to be led by Ms. Arlen Tolibas.

Joyce: Please remain standing for the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, Southern Leyte hymn,
Abante Southern Leyte Hymn, and Hinundayan Hymn by the Sound System.

Acknowledgement of the Guests:

Geneve: Please be seated…/ We are very lucky indeed that with us tonight to grace and to witness our
occasion are the dignitaries in our province and municipality, our very hardworking municipal mayor, Hon.
Evelyn T. Lee.

Joyce: And of course, also with us tonight is our very conscientious representative of the 2 nd district of
Southern Leyte, Honorable Christopherson “Coco” Yap.

Geneve: Tonight, is another remarkable night for Lungsodaan National High School / and we feel so
privileged to be here with all of you / - our distinguished guests.

Joyce: The pillars of institution, Mr. Mario A. Villas, school head, the heads of the different departments, Mr.
Danilo C. Gamolo for JHS, Mrs. Rosalinda A. Tictic for SHS, and Mrs. Hermenia A. Sultia for related
subjects.

Geneve: And our colleagues in the government service. I am Geneve T. Garzon.

Joyce: And I am Joyce Jane J. Sumacot, your masters of ceremonies for this Induction & Turn Over
Ceremonies 2023.

Geneve: It is gratifying to look around and see everyone / for such momentous occasion of our school,/ but
we wouldn’t be all here today without the leadership / of our beloved newly elected GPTA President, Jesah
T. Pentin/ Let’s give her a round of applause as she delivers her welcome address.

**** President delivers her welcome speech.****

Joyce: Thank you Ms. President for that heartwarming message. Next is the presentation of the
Homeroom PTA Officers from Grade 7-12 by Subject Department Heads for induction.

Geneve: To present the Grade 7 Homeroom PTA officers may we have on stage Mrs. Reynelda E. Galang,
TLE Department Head.

Joyce: To be followed by the Grade 8 Homeroom PTA Officers by Mr. Crisanto T. Garzon, Science
Department Head.

Geneve: Next is the Grade 9 HPTA Officers to be presented by Mrs. Anjelyn E. Ramos, Math Department
Head.
Joyce: For the Grade 10 HPTA Officers, we have Mrs. Estelita C. Baylon, English Department Head.

Geneve: For Grade 11 HPTA Officers, we have Mr. Adonis Atop, Filipino Department Head.

Joyce: Lastly, to present the Grade 12 HPTA Officers, may we have Mrs. Amparo P. Toledo, Araling
Panlipunan, Department Head.

Geneve: May we now request our very active municipal mayor Hon. Evelyn T. Lee to do the honors in
inducting our Newly Elected Homeroom PTA Officers.

Joyce and Geneve: Ladies and Gentlemen, / we would like to present to you / the newly elected
Homeroom PTA Officers 2023. Let us give them a round of applause.

*** Applause….wait to settle down.***

Joyce: Thank you and congratulations. To give as a short stimulating message, may I call on once again,
our energetic and active municipal mayor, Hon. Evelyn T. Lee, a round of applause please.

Geneve: Thank you mayor for those inspiring words. Moving on, may we call on our supportive and
dedicated school head Mr. Mario A. Villas to present to us the newly elected GPTA-BOD Officers. A big
hand please.

*** Present the GPTA-BOD Officers***

Joyce: May we now request our distinguished honored guest and the representative of the 2 nd district of
So. Leyte Hon. Christopherson “Coco” Yap to do the honors in inducting our newly elected GPTA-BOD
officers.

Geneve: Ladies and Gentlemen, we would like to present to you / the GPTA-BOD Officers. / Let us stand
and offer them a round of applause.

Joyce: Thank you and you may now take your seats.

Geneve: I know that I am speaking for everyone/ when I say that / we are grateful and humbled / by your
dedication and service. / Trust that you have our support/ and cooperation as well.

Joyce: And now let us pin our ears back as I call on, a man with philanthropic attitude and dedicated to
public service, ladies, and gentlemen, let us give a resounding applause to our Representative of the 2 nd
district of So. Leyte, Hon. Christopherson “Coco” Yap.

Geneve: Thank you Hon. Yap for that awe-inspiring message. Next is the giving of Certificate of
Appreciation to the Inducting Officials.

Joyce: May we request our school head, Mr. Mario A. Villas, SHS Department Head, Mrs. Rosalinda A.
Tictic, JHS Department Head, Mr. Danilo C. Gamolo and Head for Related Subjects, Mrs. Hermenia A.
Sultia, to assist in giving the certificate.

Geneve: Let me read the citation. (reads the citation)


Joyce: Now, let us lend our ears to the former GPTA President, Mr. Paterno Mindajao, for his Turn-Over
message.

Geneve: To be followed by the Acceptance and Short message of the newly elected GPTA President Ms.
Jesah T. Pentin. A big hand please.

Joyce: Congratulations to our former and newly elected GPTA President. Let us give them another
thunderous applause.

Geneve: Now, we are almost at the end of our program and to give the closing remarks, may I call on the
ever energetic and hardworking Head teacher I of our institution, Ma’am Hermenia A. Sultia.

Joyce: What an inspiring / and memorable night indeed / but as in all good things, / our program too has
come to an end….

Geneve: Please do stay for footwork, / the time is young and so are we/ and the dance floor is now open! /
Thank you everyone / for coming / and we wish you a safe journey home later. / Thank you!
