A small doll backpack

You can use any color and type yarn you like.

Start from the bottom, work in spiral rounds in the basic chain of 7 loops.

1. start in the 2nd ch from the hook: 5 sc, 3 sc in the last st, 4 sc, 4 sc in the last st (16)
2. 1 inc, 5 sc, 3 inc, 5 sc, 2 inc (22)
3. 1 sc, 1 inc, 5 sc, (1 sc, 1 inc)*3, 5 sc, (1 sc, 1 inc)*2 (28)
4. 2 sc, 1 inc, 5 sc, (2 sc, 1 inc)*3, 5 sc, (2 sc, 1 inc)*2 (34)
5. BLO: 34 sc
6. -15. 34 sc
16. making holes for a strip: 1 sc, (1 ch, skip 1 stitch, 3 sc)*5, 1 ch, skip 1 st, 5 sc; 1 ch,
skip 1 st, 3 sc; 1 ch, skip 1 st, 2 sc (34)
17. 34 sc
Fasten, cut the yarn.

Backpack valve
Start in the 4th stitch from the last crocheted st. Work in back and forth rows, make 1ch+turn
at the end of each row
1. -10 . 10 sc
11. making a hole for a button: 4 sc, 2 ch, skip 2 st, 4 sc
12. 10 sc
13. skip 1 st, 7 sc, skip 1 st, 1 sc (1 ch+turn)
14. skip 1 st, 5 sc, skip 1 st, 1 sc (1 ch+turn)

Crochet along the valve edge ( see at 12:20 in the video):


1. you have a work loop on the hook, insert the hook into the next (left) stitch, yarn over
2. wrap your 2 loops on the hook with the yarn, yarn over, pull the yarn through 2 loops
on the hook
Repeat 1-2 to the end of the valve edge.

Make 34 sc along the backpack edge.


Repeat 1-2 in the rest stitches of the valve. Fasten, cut off the yarn.

Make a yarn cord for backpack as a chain. Thread it in the backpack holes.

Backpack straps

The length of the backpack straps depends on the size of a doll on which you will put it on.
Make the base chain of the desired length and crochet sc-round in it. Sew the straps to the
backpack.
