Installation Instructions:

You have 2 choices of installation.


1. Copy the entire contents of the USB drive onto your hard drive. If you opt
to do this the program will run on your PC without the need to have the
USB inserted but it will take up space on your hard drive.
2. Leave the contents of the USB drive on the USB. You will only be able to
run the program when the USB is inserted (take note of which USB port
on your computer you choose and use the same one each time you use
the manual to avoid any complications).

We recommend option 1 above unless you are short on Hard drive space!

A LATER DATE.

** If you already have VMware player installed on your PC, please skip to step
10 **

1. Double click the new vmwareplayer.exe file on your desktop

2. Click Next

3. Select your destination folder and click Next


4. Uncheck "Check for product updates on startup" and click Next

5. Uncheck "Help improve VMware Player" and click Next


6. Click Next

7. Click Continue
8. Once installed, click "Restart Now"

9. Once restarted, start the application via the Desktop or Start Menu and
select"Yes, I accept the terms in the license agreement" and click OK
10. Now that you have installed VMware Player, you need to point it at the image
file. This is shown

Once you have installed VMware Player, you need to point it at the virtual image of the
manual as follows:

1. Open VMware player by double clicking the "VMware Player" icon on the desktop or
Start Menu

2. Allow VMware Player to load and the following screen should load:
3. Click the "Open a Virtual Machine" link as follows:
4. Now go to the location where you extracted the RAR file and open the VM folder. In
the VM folder will be a file with the name of the manual you have purchased

5. In the left pane will be the name of the manual you are about to open. In the right
pane, click the "Play virtual machine" link
6. If you get a message asking you whether you "moved it" or "copied it", simply
select "moved it" and OK

7. A virtual machine of "Windows XP" is now loading. Once loaded, it will automatically
login

8. On the desktop of the "Windows XP" virtual machine will be a file called "Quick Start
Guide". Simply double click this file, on how to start the manual.

THERE IS NO NEED TO DO ANY UPDATES OR CHANGE ANY SETTINGS ON THE VIRTUAL


MACHINE!
