Here I am in London. Its the capital of Britain. It’s a huge place –

ten millions people live here. England is really cool. Cambridge is

amazingly. It’s got the best night life in the world. The english are

so funny. Many people go to the mountains for their holydays.

There’s great skiing in Cornwall. But did you now? Fishing is

there favourite outdoor sport! Britain is the smallest island in

europe. The Channel Bridge go from England to Spain.

Asian films – Bollywood

Bollywood is a word made from Bombay and Hollywood. It refer

to modern indian cinema. It is the most popular type of film on

the planet and is very successfull in the UK. Bollywood makes

more films then Hollywood and sells more tickets two. The films

are full of songs, indian dance routines, comedy and action. The

actors and actresses wear beautifull costumes, and their are

allways a love story, but lovers rarely even kiss! The stars in

Bollywood films become very rich and famous.

From the age of 15, 90% of british students experience what

work is like by having a job placement whit a company. They

work up to 40 hours a week. Students doesn’t get paid – but

they learn what full-time work is really like! They write a report

for there school. They sometimes keep a personally diary, too.

Max spend a very interested week at Bainbridge Publishing. He’s

supervisor was called Ms Prentice and she was allways very

helpful and gave him lots of useful advices.

Monday

Today was a bit of a disaster. I went to bed really late last night

becourse I had to finish my homework. I know, I left it to the last

moment. But who wants to make homework at the weekend?

Anyway, i was so tired I did’nt hear the alarm clock. So Jessica

was allready in the bathroom and she takes a long time. Their

wasn’t time for breakfast so I said goodbye to Mum and I runned

out of the house. But I didn’t caught the bus. I mist it by seconds!

So I hat to walk to school and I got there at half past nine.
