Initial ideas after watching Liverpool FC: The 30-Year Wait

 Told the story from the 80s through to last seasons

 Had accounts from players, ex-players, ex managers and fans

 Talked about Hillsborough and heard from members of the family of fans wo were
killed

 Used a lot of archive footage and mixed it with voice overs from the narrator

 Talked about the season every 2-3 years or so

 Was filmed in 2020 so clearly there where some implications

 Made the watcher really feel the passion of the club

 When watching I really understood how the fans felt and wanted them to succeed

 Had light background music, noticeable but not intrusive

 Illustrated the issues that have been faced but how the club overcame them

 The use of interviews making up most of the documentary made it a lot better than
somebody just talking then cutting to and interview and then not visiting the person
they interviewed again

 I would like to use the archive footage in a same way as them

 The camera angles in some interviews, specifically Jamie Redknapp’s, really showed
his facial expressions

 The backgrounds for the interviews varied, makes a change from the same
background for all interviews

 You didn’t hear the interviewer asking questions, I believe he/she would have sent
the interviewee questions and asked them to answer them speaking into the camera

 The lighting in some Interviews showed up the facial expressions extremely well
