3. Performances

1. Float service life at 60℃

a) Based on the given method of YD/T 799-2010, the end condition is
terminated when the actual 3hr capacity is less than 0.8 C10 (3h) (take narrow
type 12V100Ah for example, the actual 3hr capacity is less than 60Ah).
b) The cycle time of 12V high temperature narrow type battery is no less than
8 times.
Test condition of this type at present is listed below:

From the above testing curve, we can find that the battery has been cycled 9 time,
the actual capacity is 85% rated capacity and the test continues.
2. 45℃ 60%DOD cycle test
Environment temperature:45±2℃
Test method:
a) Discharge 3hr in 2.0I10 A
b) Charge 6hr in 1.5I10 A at constant voltage 2.35V/cell
c) Repeat step a) and b) 29 times. 3hr after 30th discharge, charge 12hr
in 1.5I10 A at constant voltage 2.35V/cell
d) Repeat a), b) and c) twice
e) Discharge at constant current 1.0I10A to final voltage 1.8V/cell. Then
charge 16hr in 1.5I10 A at constant voltage 2.35V/cell
f) Repeat step a)~f) until the actual voltage is less than 60%C10.
45℃ 60%DOD cycle curve

From the above curve, we can see that the battery has been cycled 330 times, the
actual capacity is still 103% rated capacity and the test continues.
