METHODOLOGY FOR DRY LEAN CONCRETE

A1. The work shall consist of construction of Dry Lean Concrete (DLC) Sub-base for Cement
Concrete Pavement in accordance with the requirement of technical specifications and in
conformity with approved lines, grades and cross-sections.

B.2.3 Design Mix has been conducted with both Crushed Sand alone and also Crushed Sand blended
with natural sand as fine aggregate. This has been done to continue with work in case of
shortage of stone dust from stone crusher installed at site.

The material after blending shall conform to the grading as indicated in table given below:
