Spending Holiday in Ibiza

I went to Ibiza three years ago in the summer. I got there by plane from Valencia. The flight was short,
only 30 minutes. I have never flown with a plane. It was great.
I got to the Ibiza Airport and took a taxi that carried me to the hotel. The hotel was in Santa Eulalia del
Rio, 20 km from Ibiza town. It is a small and tourist town. The hotel was big. There were many rooms. It
had a great swimming pool and several restaurants. I had breakfast and dinner in the hotel.
I went to the beach near hotel in the afternoon, I was too tired and relaxed on the beach. I saw
beautiful beach with clear waters and white sand. It was wonderful landscapes, lovely coastal villages,
it was fantastic.
One day I took a ship to Formentera. Sailing by ship was great. When I got to Formentera, I rented a
motorbike to visit the island. Formentera is a small lovely island. I could see wonderful beach, sand
dunes, and great landscapes. It was summer and there were many people there.
I didn’t go out at the night except the last day. I went to a disco in Ibiza near Ambosa Beach. It was a
big disco but expensive. I spent much money there but I had a good time. I was too tired. I went to the
bed latetly.
Spending holiday in Ibiza was wonderful. I think I will go back to Ibiza again, I really liked that place.

Read the following text and answer the question.

It comes as little surprise that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 attempts to be bigger and bolder than its
predecessor. Critics say the result is something of a mixed bag -- while the cast is outstanding and the
special effects are top-notch, the latest installment of the Spidey Saga suffers from an unfocused
narrative and an overabundance of characters. This time out, Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) has a lot
on his mind: his relationship with Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) is full with complications, and he becomes
increasingly haunted when new information about the deaths of his parents comes to light. As if that
wasn't enough, our hero must protect the city from the likes of Electro (Jamie Foxx) and the Rhino (Paul
Giamatti). The experts say that Garfield and Stone share a genuine onscreen chemistry, and the big
action set-pieces are visually striking, but the bloated runtime and jarring tonal shifts keep The Amazing
Spider-Man 2 from scaling the heights established by previous Spider-Man flicks.

42. Based on the text, the followings belong to the actors and actresses of the film, EXCEPT....
A. Spidey saga
B. Jamie Foxx
C. Paul Giamatti
D. Emma Stone
E. Andrew Garfield
43. What made Peter Parker feel worried?
A. The predecessor
B. The bloated runtime
C. The big action set-pieces
D. The deaths of his parents
E. A genuine onscreen chemistry

Read the following text and answer the question.

The reading habit among Indonesian students is still low. There are some causes why it happens.

Firstly, books are relatively expensive in Indonesia. Publishers claim that the price of raw materials and
the production cost of books are high and keep increasing. Therefore, books are sold expensively; and
consequently, most students cannot afford them.

Secondly, if we browse the book shelves at book store, it is not easy to find real high quality books.
Some books with good topics may have plain and boring designs, while there are also books which
look good but the contents are almost not worth-reading.

Thirdly, and quite unfortunately, nowadays there are many kinds of activities other than reading, and
young people prefer doing them. These include watching youth soap operas on TV, listening to music
and songs with meaningless lyrics or just hanging out at shopping malls. Such activities clearly do not
offer as much learning as the book reading habit does. And, clearly they forget saying “a book is the
window to the world”.
In conclusion, if we want to increase reading habit among Indonesian students we can begin by
lowering the price of books, increasing the quality of the books and motivating students that reading is
more beneficial than any other activities.

44. One of the causes of low reading habit among Indonesian students is because of ....
A. Difficulty in finding good books and book stores
B. A good awareness toward the importance of reading
C. Other uninteresting activities of the students
D. Hanging out at book stores
E. Low quality of book
45. What should we do to increase reading habit among Indonesian students?
A. Begin by lowering the price of books and increasing the quality of the books
B. Hanging out at shopping malls
C. Watching youth soap operas on TV
D. Listening to music
E. Buy a lot of book
46. The main idea of the fourth paragraph is....
A. A book is the window to the world
B. Young people prefer reading to doing other activities
C. Young people like doing other activities better than reading
D. The activities offer the students to learn anything from the books
E. A large numbers of activities tries to persuade
47. ” If we browse the bookshelves at book store, it is not easy..” (paragraph. 3). The word "browse"
has the same meaning as ....
A. Arrange
B. Open
C. Look through
D. Observe
E. Choose
