There's only one Legendary/Mythical Pokémon per specie. The difference is that Legendaries usually are part of the main story in the games, while Mythicals aren't part of the main game and are instead distributed at real-life events or obtainable via online distribution. Also, Legendaries are real and acknowledged by society. While Mythicals are unknown, and to the general society they're only myths.
