IMPORTANCE OF TOURISM PLANNING TOURISM PLANNING is the integral part of the city. Any organisation or council needs to manage the assets that are used in tourism of a place. It is important as it creates no of benefits for the local as well as tourists. It could be stated as follows — ECONOMIC IMPORTANCE: It helps in managing the areas local economy so that businesses generated goes straight back into the community, to create income and employment benefits for the regions, communities, and country as well. PLANNING INTEGRATED TOURISM IS THE CONCEPT OF COMMUNITY BASED TOURISM that includes close similarities to sustainable tourism, eco tourism or rural tourism.the stakeholders involved are federal, state and local government entities , industry associations, and community stakeholders. Tourism planning and development takes place in coordination with all the state and local level stakeholders. Strategies are formed on the basis of approach and amount of engagement that is needed for the development. A panel of experts from the academia, practice and public sector developed the matrix of relationships with the scope of spreading different forms of collaboration between stakeholders aimed at jointly improving the right balance needed for sustainable development in tourism. Tourism cannot overtax the resource supplies of the local region. Tourist revenue must provide conservation, scientific, or cultural benefits to the resource, local community, and industry as a whole.
