1.BACKGROUND

The "URBAN SOCIOLOGY" is the sociological study of life and

human interaction in metropolitian areas.It is a normative
discipline of sociology seeking to study the
structures,environmental process, changes and problems of an
urban area and by doing so,provide inputs for urban planning
and policy.
 The philosophical foundations of modern urban sociology
originate from the work of sociologists such as Karl
Marx,Ferdinand Tonnies,EmileDurkheim,Max Weber and Georg
Simmel who studied and theorized the economic ,social and
cultural process of urbinazation and its effects on social
alientaion, class formation,and the production or destruction of
collective and individual identities.It rises within North America
academics through a group of sociologists and theroists at the
university of Chicago School from 1915 to 1940. The father of
"URBAN SOCIOLOGY" is considerd as Georg Simmel.It studies
about the developments of town,social disorganization,the
urban life and town planning.The theory of symbolic
interaction,the basis through which many methodologically-
groundbreaking ethnographies were framed in the period.The
symbolic interaction was forged out the writing of early micro-
sociologistsGeorge Mead and Max Weaber.
Our world is changing so rapidly.The progressive change in
everything is going on.We can see it in our society in every
sector gradual change is there.The adoptation of differences by
different generation it's hard to tolerate.What was the system
when our grand parents or our parents were and how it is
now,and what will be in next generation?The change in
society,communities,life-style,behavior,way of responding and
so on.
2.STATEMENT OF PROBLEM

The Urban Sociology,is focusing on the dynamics of

neighbourhood change,specificallythe precipitants of
change,the process of change,the effects of changeon
household moving in and out and the effects of neighbourhood
change on the city and region as a whole.
Life is determined by economic condition.The settlement of
people from rural to city creates change.In the begining of
society ,human was depend on agriculture,animal husbandary
and market was based in local firm but now as, the time
changed life depends on industries,trade,service and so
on.Which presents the change in human life-style.The
conditions are not favorble for human now a days due to
change of life style.The relation and social elements gets
changed.As we became victim of luxirous life style we started to
commit problems for nature and society.So,we formed
law:which can govern us and our life.This research address
some of the questions:
This research arise some of the questions.They are as follows:
1.How urbanization and industrialization lead to the
development of sociology?
2.How it leads life in the new style along with working
conditions?
3.Which includes new social problems like poverty,pollution and
crime?
4.How society operates based on certain social situations?

3.Objectives of research:

A sociological analysis of urban sociology is related to the size of

an urban community is greater then rural community,density of
population is high in urban area then in rural area,family
concerned,greater importance is attatched to the
individualthan to the family,marriage within inter caste and love
marriage consider divorce because children loves freedom
which moves them to take a wrong decession ,occupation
people work in industries,administration,and human are
professional in nature which createes division of ,llabour,class
extremes is seen in urban area who are rich they lives in
bungalows and poor lives in slum area,social heterogenity
represents cultural homogenity.The peoples are divided by
races,culture,religion and holds different beliefs,cultural
outlook,customs and tradition,social distance is utter lack of
personal involvementin the affairs of others,system of
interaction the contact of wider area interacvtion systems per
man and per aggregate.This makescity life more complex and
varried,social mobilityis the ststus of an individual is
determined by merit,intelligence and preservance,materialism
is judged not by what he is biut bywhat he has,individualism
shows the welfare and happiness of an individuals ,rationality
makes inclined to reason to argue by the consideration by
gaining or loss,anonymity here nobody knows anybody and
nobody cares anybody,norm and social role is seeking divergent
ends it cause social disorganization,rapid social and cultural
change,voluntary associations,formal social
control,secularization of outlook and urban areas provide.
4.Rationale of study:
The fundamental reason for this proposal is that how to make
settlement better so it can save nature and also we can enjoy
our life.we need to live in society.By having many relation and
need to maintain it.The change in world from beginning to now
life gets change and based in different sectors at first it was
based in agriculture and it is based in industries.
All the human being who lives in this earth in
any area either in village or in metropolitian city but the way of
living is near by same.The change from now to today is
different as how the nature was of human being and now it is
different.The world was very much free of evils incident but
now its rare places where a person feels secure and peace.
The study and education of urban sociology
reflects message to people about how to manage life,how to
sustain in situation,how to save nature and natural resources
and by maintaining social relation in
society,neighbourhood,relatives and with family.It helps us to
know about the developmentof towns,socialdisorginazation
,the problems of urban life and town planning.The interaction
between the urban environment and the development of
human personality,the structure of family,role of family and the
permanemt and changing elements of a family.

5.Hypothesis:
The study of urban sociology is a compllete detail about a new
settlement and change of human life.The changes and influence
of it in nature which is based in modern world.We started to live
a life where we needs luxurious items to live our life but we
never think about the nature.But, after reading my research a
reader will get a message that we should live in modern world
but we should try to maintainm system which can makes every
one happy by saving our nature . It also makes us aware about
human interaction.We syudy about structure of planning.We
always need to think about environment process which manage
its balance itself but our responsibility is to save it from getting
harm.what types of changes are made in nature by us and by
itself? what types of a problem we face from it and wha t may
be the solution of it.we need to think about policy making
which can save us and our nature.
6.Literature Review:

When the reader goes through it ,then they will think about
it.The evaluation of urban sociology through what I am
presenting in the differences they will think that ,we were not
happy when we are in starting age.We were unable to complete
our needs.Later,we became capable to complete our needs and
we entered into modern world.But,the change made us
irrational we forgot about our past life and started to enjoy our
modern life.Now, we are planning to create such a condition
which can lead us to a welfare and sustainable life along with
our nature.Can we do that, what we had already destroyed how
can we manage that and how can we carry it to forward it with
us.
7.Methodology:
This research is based on qualitative research method.I had
collected data by visiting personally in rural areas and in an
urban areas.I will present my data,which is collected from
primary and secondary sources:
A.Primary sources:
I asked many peoples by visiting in rural area of my city.They
said the life is better now but the life was happiestin
beginning,may be change of in every element of society.
B.Secondary sources:
While collecting data I went through many sites,books,news
paper and from social media like youtube and so on.
8.Delimitation
This research is based on qualitative research.The research goes
through the difference casse studies
from which to draw a conclusion.The results are limits by the
case study of sample size.The scope of Urban Sociology are
science borrows from history,economics,social
psychology,public administration and social work.
The research have following objectives:
A. It identifies about human relation and nature.
B.It interact with urban environment and human
development personality.
C.It shows how industialization and urbanization lead to the
development of sociology.
