THE 21 CENTURY UNCeans
INTRODUCTION
This module covers the following topics: UNC Characteristics about the importance of core values,
graduate attributes, academic regulations, Code of Conduct, classification and application of penalties
and prosecution of violations, awareness of the RA 11053 Hazing Law and RA 7877.
The lesson is to be delivered printed modular where you are expected to read the College Student
Handbook pages 40-58 and pages 81-94. The articles have corresponding sections that will help
enlighten your minds. There will be interaction between you and your group mates in the different
articles of the Code of Conduct. Assignments to be given and complied with at their own pace and time
within the time frame of this module.
I will be available for consultation to guide you with the tasks as well as giving feedback on the
submission and participation.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
At the end of this module, you should be able to:
1. Explain the importance of Core Values
2. Describe the attributes of UNC Graduates
3. Discuss the new instructional modality or the UNC RED Resilient Education Delivery
4. Explain the relevance of retention policies
5. Illustrate the objective process of the university in selecting and giving various awards and
services
6. Abide/comply with the rules and regulations stated in different articles of the University
Code of Conduct
7. Illustrate the process of classification & application of penalties, prosecution of violation
8. Discuss the salient points in RA11053 Anti Hazing Law, RA7877 Sexual Harassment Law
affecting the students' welfare

ASSESSMENT
Formative assessments are in the form of a discussion prompt. These are non-graded but aim to give
you a strong foundation of the course.
Summative assessments are graded and these are the peer-reviewed reflection papers, answers to
Activity 2.1 and 2.4 in this module. These are graded assessments through Rubric. Midterm exam will be
conducted based on the calendar of the university.
