Definition of the simple past tense

The simple past tense, sometimes called the preterite, is used to talk about a
completed action in a time before now. The simple past is the basic form of past
tense in English. The time of the action can be in the recent past or the
distant past and action duration is not important.
Example:
singular
1. “I see niall and Barbara at restaurant yesterday.”
2. “two week ago zayn malik diner with gigi at expensive
restaurant.”
3. “on that day, harry was upset cuz his food so spicy.”
Plural
1. “I saw niall hotan and Barbara palvin at restaurant
yesterday .”
2. “two weeks ago zayn malik has dinner with gigi hadid at
expensive restaurant.”
Definition of present perfect tense

The present perfect is used to indicate a link between the present and the past. The
time of the action is before now but not specified, and we are often more interested
in the result than in the action itself.

Example:
singular
1. “I had lauch with french fries at kfc .”
2. “me and harry I’ll go to zoo after we lauch.”
3. “louis has gone to the mc Donald cuz he hungry”
plural
1. “liam asked me to diner with him at 8pm.”
2. “louis had plan we`re gotten to wendy`s after school, while working
some homeworks”
