Assessment:

1. What is the importance of Informal Learning? Why should a firm not take it for granted?

Answer: Informal learning is more important to the presentation of employees than structured
learning, and while it recreates a special natural self-driven learning environment, it is also a
crucial component of a successful organizational training strategy. Almost all features of a
planning schedule are bound to elicit favorable views as employees are given a degree of effect
on their preparation, integrating the lengthy face-to-face meetings that they would normally
dread. And a business not to be given is mostly that the skills learned from casual studying of
one association are less evident to multiple administrators than those acquired by careful
training.

2. Discuss instances where Tacit and Explicit knowledge is acquired at school.

Answer: In school, Tacit Knowledge could be a student going to school "to receive an education
and to learn how to learn" while the student could come to the library to help find the specific
book to "develop curiosity in a school subject."

3. With your answers in question no. 2, cite instances on how these things have helped you in
your everyday life.

Answer: In our daily lives, these things have benefited us and they have many advantages. In
business for example, you first need to understand the various forms of information: overt and
implicit, in order to understand and establish a knowledge exchange approach for your business.
And no matter how you describe the expertise of your organisation, the performance and
efficiency of your staff is all important. It can also enhance an organization in many respects. It
would ensure that employees' advanced expertise is not left with them, or that those employees
who may benefit from that knowledge are left unused. It encourages greater understanding of the
situation, as well as opening doors for learning about best practices, lessons learnt, and general
development of the company.
4. How can employee orientation be significant to an employee’s productivity?

Answer: Employee orientation is important to the success of an employee. Since it provides

workers with the basic organizational data they need to be prepared and placed within the
company for their new department. Effective employee orientation makes workers mindful of
business standards and norms, maintains vital paperwork, and answers any issues or complaints
they may have before transitioning into their new jobs.
5. How will you encourage an employee to engage or participate in training and development
activities?

Answer: I recommend urging an individual to join in or take an interest in activities of training

and development because there is nothing wrong with engaging in activities of training and
development, really allowing you to enhance your skills and learn new things that help you better
your job presentation. Training and development tasks are not boring, there are plenty of fun in
the activities of training and development. Through planning and appreciating it you can find
another friend while you can also learn to get a charge out of it.
