SUMMARY: In several parts of the world, technological innovation and globalization have resulted in

modern economic growth and social change. Increasingly, governments are also implementing modern
technologies to ensure public safety and to protect their people. In particular, automated customs and
risk management systems have been implemented by customs and administrations to facilitate free
trade and travel while preventing cross-border transportation of hazardous goods and individuals.

ANALYSIS: It recommends an up-to-date dynamic information and communications technology (ICT)

implementation stage model that accounts evolving modern technology and transformative public
organizations. An in depth approach is utilized by the use of customs facilities in South Korea. In general,
to explain how the Korean customs service has developed its digital customs system in tandem with the
guidelines and procedures for risk management and to provide quantitative data on the effects of
customs and risk management.

EVALUATION OF THE CASE STUDY: Unfortunately, the need is driven by the usefulness of ICT in
environments and the intangible benefits of ICT for development, such as empowerment, self-esteem
and social cohesion, are more important from a development perspective. Now that ICT infrastructure is
one of the key challenges of the implementation of e-government, it is important to facilitate adequate
information sharing and open new channels for communication and delivery of new services. It believes
that the process of installing and managing risk systems for customs and border agencies is more
relevant for customers to tell us the possible threats they are trying to avoid. Now that some countries
are focusing on health, safety and security risks, others are focusing on fiscal threats, including piracy,
undervaluation, misclassification and misrepresentation of origin, to achieve economic growth, and this
can be done by successful targeting and inspiration.

REACTION: As far as I see now the world is becoming digital faster than we could have expected, and
public administrations are also going digitally just as quickly as, Information Communication Technology
is everywhere in today’s customs workplace from the use of ICT in office automation to the use of the
internet to publish and disseminate information to the use of automated clearance systems to make
statements conduct risk management to take valid action.

CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION: And finally, it offers an overview of how customs

administrations are adopting emerging digital technology, and also gives some experts a voice on
particular issues such as data processing, dematerialization promotion programs in the private sector,
and the convergence of supply chain-wide platforms. It is actually fascinating and helps to speed up
digitalization across the customs community while further encouraging interoperability and cooperation
between all trade stakeholders in connectivity. While the focus on recommendations is on introducing
the new tools of ICT implementation, technology adoption model, public organization, digital customs,
e-governance and risk management.
