CCI’s Online Internship programme during MAY & JUNE 2020

In view of stringent restrictions imposed on physical movement across the country due to Covid-
19 pandemic, the regular Competition Commission of India (CCI/Commission) internship
programme has been suspended for the time being. However, for the benefit of students, the
Commission will impart online internship training for the months of MAY & JUNE 2020.

For the internship of Month of May, 2020- Students who have already applied by 01.04.2020
for the internship of May, 2020 and are eligible in terms of guidelines already available on CCI
website are required to send their requests for online internship specifically again alongwith
scanned copies of applications through the email id (internships@cci.gov.in) by which they have
already applied earlier to CCI specifically mentioning online internship. The emails carrying
such requests shall indicate “Online Internship during the month of _____” as subject of
email.

For the internship of Month of June, 2020- students whose applications are/will be received
by 01.05.2020* shall only be considered. Applicants who have already applied for the internship
of June 2020, shall send their requests alongwith scanned copies of applications through the
email id (internships@cci.gov.in) by which they have already applied earlier to CCI specifically
mentioning online internship. New applicants shall send their applications in prescribed format
(available on CCI website under “Internship” heading) alongwith self-certified copies of College
ID and last marks sheet specifically mentioning online internship. The emails carrying such
requests shall indicate “Online Internship during the month of _____” as subject of email.

The shortlisted candidates shall be allocated to the guides/mentors. The interns will be provided
contact details of their guides for being in regular touch with them to complete the assigned
work. Shortlisted interns will communicate through email or video link forwarded by the
mentor. The duration of internship (a week/ two weeks/ three weeks/ a month) shall be decided
by the mentor depending on the work assigned. On certification by concerned mentor that
assigned intern has worked/completed the internship to his satisfaction, a certificate for the
period of internship shall be awarded to the interns. All such requests may be sent at
internships@cci.gov.in.

Shortlisted candidates shall be intimated through contact details provided by them in their
requests/ applications.

NO STIPEND/HONORARIUM SHALL BE PAID TO INTERNS FOR ONLINE

INTERNSHIP.

No queries/enquiries, whatsoever, shall be entertained regarding online internship.
